After the call with Mu Beiting, Ye Anxin’s mood improved significantly. All previous gloominess vanished, and she cheerfully put her phone into her pocket, then went upstairs to change clothes. She packed a larger backpack with baby formula and diapers, before taking little Chu Yi from the nanny and heading out!
The butler originally wanted the nanny to accompany her to reduce Ye Anxin’s burden! But upon Ye Anxin’s insistence, they eventually left the nanny at home.
By the time Ye Anxin and Ling Yueyue met, two hours had passed!
Ling Yueyue stood at the mall entrance, watching as Ye Anxin got out of a business car with a backpack on and carrying little Chu Yi. She quickly ran to Ye Anxin, happily extending her arms to hold little Chu Yi.
However, before her hands could touch little Chu Yi, she heard Ye Anxin cautiously say, "This little one is very shy! I’d better hold her to avoid her crying!"
"I’m her godmother! If she dare not let me hold her, I’ll spank her little bottom!" She said, taking little Chu Yi from Ye Anxin’s arms!
Once little Chu Yi was cradled in Ling Yueyue’s arms, the anticipated crying didn’t occur. Ye Anxin curiously glanced at little Chu Yi, only to see her wide, sparkling eyes eagerly exploring the surroundings.
It turned out that being in an exciting place left the little one uninterested in checking out who was holding her, as she was busy absorbing the scenery!
Her lack of tears left Ling Yueyue feeling proud, "See? I told you! I’m her godmother, how could she not let me hold her!"
Not letting Ling Yueyue boast, Ye Anxin pouted, rudely countering, "Don’t be so smug! She’s just happy because of a change of environment, and there’s no time to worry about you!"
"Hmph, go ahead and put me down! Anyway, Chu Yi wants me! She’s not crying or fussing and looks quite cheerful!" With that, she lowered her head and gave little Chu Yi a strong kiss on her chubby cheek.
Witnessing the usually selective little Chu Yi not only willingly staying in Ling Yueyue’s arms but also being kissed without any protest while her big eyes roamed around, left Ye Anxin rolling her eyes.
Seeing Ye Anxin’s jealous look, Ling Yueyue nudged her playfully and said with a grin, "Alright, stop being jealous! Let’s go for a stroll! Instead of wandering inside the mall today, let’s just walk around the stores on the street! We can breathe in the fresh air and let little Chu Yi see more new things!"
"Sure!" Ye Anxin nodded! One carried a backpack, the other held the child, as they aimlessly wandered around.
Tired from walking, they would rest on a bench or a flower bed by the street!
By noon, at twelve o’clock, little Chu Yi, who was normally supposed to drink milk and take a nap, still wouldn’t sleep after drinking milk, continuing to look around with open eyes!
Seeing little Chu Yi still playing happily in her arms, Ling Yueyue said helplessly, "This little one, she apparently doesn’t plan to sleep! Let’s leave her be, let her play! I’m hungry, let’s find somewhere to eat first!"

However, after waiting a while, Ling Yueyue still hadn’t risen from the bench! Ye Anxin turned her head to look over and found Ling Yueyue staring blankly at something.
Ye Anxin gently nudged her arm, slightly annoyed, saying, "Hey, what are you staring at? Didn’t you say you’re hungry? Let’s go find a place to eat!"
Ling Yueyue hesitated for a moment but eventually pointed towards a spot not far from the bench and said, "Anxin, look over there...!"
"What is it?" Ye Anxin looked in the direction Ling Yueyue pointed! Seeing the scene not far away, she froze.
On the other side of the street, opposite their bench, Mu Beiting stood side by side with a woman, their backs towards them, in front of a jewelry store’s glass window. Mu Beiting seemed to be talking about something while pointing at the window display!
The woman beside him was listening intently, occasionally turning her head to look at Mu Beiting, responding with a few words!
From behind, the woman appeared petite, wearing a T-shirt with jeans and had her hair in a ponytail! If Ye Anxin weren’t standing right next to her, she would definitely think the woman standing with Mu Beiting was Ye Anxin.
Ling Yueyue didn’t notice Ye Anxin’s reaction and curiously asked, "Is that your Uncle?"
