Chapter 1592: Chapter 1593: Qin Feimo’s Attitude (Part 4)

Feng Jinglei lowered her head; whether Qin Feimo would come or not was no longer important.

After a while, she started, shifting the topic, "Grandmother Qin, the doctor said there’s no issue with me and the baby anymore, and I plan to be discharged this morning."

Zhuang Yanyan paused at that, quickly comforting her, "How can that be? The doctor said you need to be observed for two more days, for you and the baby’s health!"

Feng Jinglei smiled, "I asked the doctor last night, and he said both the baby and I are fine. If I insist on leaving, it’s okay as long as I take care at home."

Zhuang Yanyan frowned, skeptical about her words, "Really?"

"Yes!" The doctor indeed said this; however, he suggested observing for another day, but she felt it was unnecessary.

Besides, the pungent smell of disinfectant in the hospital might not be good for the baby.

Just as they were speaking, a doctor came over for rounds.

"How does Miss Feng feel?"

The entering doctor smiled, visibly noticing her improved spirits and complexion compared to yesterday.

"I feel fine. Can I be discharged this morning?" She didn’t want to stay in the hospital, partly because she found it unnecessary, and partly because it felt like she was waiting for Qin Feimo to visit her.

She was just dizzy due to pregnancy-induced anemia, not a delicate flower in a greenhouse; continually staying in the hospital seemed to suggest she was fragile, as if she absolutely needed Qin Feimo to visit her.

Hearing this, the doctor was momentarily surprised, but soon smiled again. "If Miss Feng insists on being discharged, it’s possible. Anyway, you have a family doctor to care for you at home." freewebnøvel.com

Upon hearing the doctor’s reply, Feng Jinglei sighed in relief, worried that the doctor and Grandmother Qin might disagree, but she indeed didn’t want to stay in the hospital.

Since the doctor said so, Zhuang Yanyan was reassured.

"Alright then, finish drinking all this chicken soup, and we’ll get ready to leave!"

"Okay." Feng Jinglei smiled, yet still a bit disappointed.

But fortunately, at least Grandfather Qin and Grandmother Qin accepted the little life in her belly.

"I’ll go handle the discharge paperwork!" Xiaoqi on the side spoke excitedly, and turned to leave after speaking.

After drinking two bowls of chicken soup, Zhuang Yanyan began helping her pack up, preparing to leave the hospital.

Having only stayed for one night, Feng Jinglei didn’t have much.

"What about this flower? Do you want it?" Glancing at the bunch of lilies on the bedside table, Zhuang Yanyan didn’t know who bought them, but she always respected Feng Jinglei’s belongings.

Glancing at the flowers, Feng Jinglei smiled, also getting up from bed and dressing.

"Yes, a friend sent them."

"Alright, take them home and put them in a vase!" Zhuang Yanyan smiled kindly, seeing that almost everything was packed, she waited for Xiaoqi to finish the discharge procedures to leave.

Being elderly, she was exceptionally meticulous in packing, ensuring everything was accounted for before she even looked around again, worried nothing was missed.

"Jinglei, do you have anything else?"

At that moment, Feng Jinglei was sitting on the sofa, lost in thought, waiting for Xiaoqi to return.

Upon hearing Zhuang Yanyan’s voice, she glanced at the two sets of clothes, a bouquet of flowers, and the basket of fruit that had been packed.

"No, that’s all."

"Alright then!" Zhuang Yanyan smiled and turned, instinctively glancing around the hospital room once more to ensure that none of Feng Jinglei’s belongings were left before intending to sit on the sofa.
