“You thought it was the perfect opportunity for escape because you were out of the inner court and out of the palace,” Ren stated coldly.
“What are you saying?!” I cried out in shock. He’s getting it all wrong.
“Look me in the eyes, Rin. Tell me that not once did the thought of escaping cross your mind. Can you tell me that?” Ren challenged.
“I...” I whispered quietly.
I felt a warmth against my forehead as Ren touched his forehead to mine. It was such a gentle and tender gesture yet at that moment, it did nothing but scare me. For some reason, it felt like Ren could read me and he knew exactly what I was thinking. My body shivered in fear.
“You can’t say it, can you?” Ren asked in a disappointed whisper.
I bit my lower lips in frustration. He was right. I couldn’t say it. If I did, I would just be telling Ren a lie and he would realize it straight away anyways. He was right, I did think of escape. I even went as far as to think about how to make it feasible with the resources that I had at my disposal. Seeing that I had nothing more to say for myself, Ren let out a sigh before he began to speak.
His warmth left my forehead as he stood up to his full height once again and looked down at me.
“Remember this and remember it well, Rin. There are only two ways that you’re going to get out of my inner court,” Ren said, his voice void of emotions.
Why is he telling me this?
“What are you saying? Why are you telling me this?” I asked, suspiciously.
“You should already know the first way since you’ve already used it,” Ren said, his eyes looking deeply into mine.
“I don’t recall...” I murmured. I have never escaped from the inner court before...
“The first way is if you’re leaving with me. Just like when we left for our little getaway to the hot springs or when we went to the festival together today. No one stopped you then, right?” Ren explained.
“...I see...and the other?” I asked in a shaky voice. For some reason, I felt like I didn’t want to know anymore.
“You use the South exit,” Ren said simply.
“The South exit?” I whispered in wonder.
“Unfortunately, it is rarely used since I’ve taken over. This exit used to be quite popular during the days of its previous owner, my dear uncle,” Ren explained casually.
“I can leave through there?” I asked. For some reason, it sounded too easy and simple.
“Yes. Anyone can leave through the South Exit...with one condition,” Ren said with a smile.
“One condition?” I asked curiously.
“You leave...as a corpse,” Ren whispered slowly into my ear before flashing me a sweet innocent smile.
My blood ran cold, and my body froze at his words. A corpse? As in...you have to be dead?
“Huh?” I said in shock.
Ren’s eyes were void of emotion and his face was like a stone statue. I have seen Ren when he was angry before, but this was just so different. It was like he was no longer himself. As his cold eyes stared at me, I trembled in fear. I was so scared of him that I couldn’t move or breathe.
What can I do to make him feel better? Should I just come out and confess to him that I did think of running away but I didn’t do it. That I didn’t run away because I couldn’t leave him. After everything that had happened between us, I still wanted to continue living with Ren.
“Ren...I...I’m so sorry...” I said weakly.
It wasn’t what I wanted to say, and I knew that it wasn’t what Ren wanted to hear either. Everything I said just sounded like excuses and half-truths. However, I can’t seem to bring myself to say what I wanted and needed to.
“I don’t want your apologies, Rin,” Ren said as he grabbed my arm tightly in his hand.
“Ren...” I whispered his name.
His hand around my arm tightened as he began pulling me towards the bed. I cried out when he flung me onto his bed. I was more shocked by his action than hurt by the force of my body hitting the soft mattress of the bed. freewebnσvel.cøm
“It’s good that you’re back, Rin. I won’t let you leave ever again...” Ren said, his tone dark as he pinned me to the bed with his body.
I felt the weight of his body on top of mine before he pinned my wrists to the mattress above my head. His hand around my wrists felt hot as he held me in place. His face was so close to mine, and I felt so intimidated by his presence.
“Ren...” I whispered his name, my voice sounding like I was pleading for mercy.
Ren lips crushed on mine suddenly and I cried out into his kiss in surprise and slight shock. His kiss was hot and wild. His hot tongue thrusted into my mouth and mingled with my tongue. Ren groaned into our kiss as his other hand started groping my breast on top of my clothes. He’s being so aggressive, and everything was moving so fast.
I moaned into his mouth before he started to change the angle of our kiss. His tongue was restless inside of my mouth as it grinded wildly with my own. His hand on my breast began stroking and squeezing my breasts roughly in turn. Ren towered over me with his large frame, and I felt my legs being nudged apart by his knees before he positioned his hips in between my spread legs.
His body felt so hot on top of mine. I moaned into our kiss when I felt Ren grinding his hips against mine. I could feel the distinct hardness in between his legs as he grinded it against my most feminine part in between my legs. He’s already so hard, I thought as my body got hotter in response to his caresses and stimulations.
My hips began moving along with his as I started grinding my hips against his in return. His heat and hardness pushed against the sensitive area in between my legs, and I moaned out loudly at the seductive pleasure.
