Chapter 1997: Chapter 660: Best Friends, Serendipitous Encounter (Part 4)

A rich aroma blending top-grade agarwood and Cuban cigars wafted towards them.

Jing’s gaze immediately fell upon the foreign woman seated gracefully in the huanghuali round-backed armchair.

In her thirties, her demeanor was impeccably elegant.

Even a simple action of savoring a cigar exuded a noble air.

Seeing the two enter, the woman put down the cigar and stood up elegantly.

Her eyes surveyed Jing, then she extended her hand, "Hello, Miss Tian Jing, I’ve heard much about you."

"Jing, this is Miss Tina Spencer," Lin Muxue introduced from the side, "a committee member of the Tang Jin Family Office, primarily responsible for the management and operation of all high-end property assets under the office."

Jing felt a slight stir in her heart.

As she had expected, the so-called Tang Jin referred to the family office of Tang Song and Chairman Jin.

And this Tina Spencer, judging by her name and demeanor, appeared to be of pure European aristocratic lineage.

In appearance, a typical English beauty, though not as pretty and alluring as Anne.

She still preferred playing with that wild stallion.

Despite her whirlwind of thoughts, Jing maintained her sweet and obedient façade on the surface.

She slightly bowed, saying, "It’s a pleasure to meet you, Miss Spencer."

The trio sat down again.

Lin Muxue expertly played the role of "middleman" and "introducer," skillfully directing the conversation to avoid awkwardness.

After a few pleasantries.

Tina cut straight to the point, pulling a beautifully bound folder from her briefcase beside her, and placing it in front of Jing.

"Miss Tian, since you are the ’agent’ personally designated by President Tang, according to the office’s procedures, we will formally transfer the management rights of the first batch of property assets to your ’Jingyi Asset Management’."

Jing took it somewhat surprised, curiously opening the folder.

Tina’s voice sounded beside her, unhurried:

"The first batch of assets to be transferred mainly includes three locations, all of which are our top-tier private clubs."

"The first location is the ’Tang Jin WANO’ in Tokyo Ginza, in a Japanese teahouse style, primarily hosting our top partners in Asia."

"The second location is the ’The Sovereign Club’ in Singapore Marina Bay, in a modern style, leaning more towards elite social events in finance and technology sectors."

"The third location, also the most valuable, is the ’St. James’s Legacy’ in the London Mayfair District..."

As she listened to the series of renowned locations and introductions to the top clubs, Lin Muxue’s heart was already in turmoil.

Property asset transfers?! And the first batch?!

Tang Song... had already started letting Jing get involved with Tang Jin Family Office’s business!

Inevitably, jealousy arose within.

But she quickly adjusted her mindset.

She was no longer who she used to be, Tang Song’s actions must have deeper intent.

Moreover, she was about to personally take over the grander ’Tang Jin Manor’.

Thinking of that top-tier manor comparable to royal gardens, Lin Muxue squeezed her thighs, her cheeks slightly reddening.

Her heart surged with excitement.

Tina paused for a moment, continuing, "To ensure no issues arise during the handover process, you can start by choosing one of these three places as a starting point to participate in its operation and management, familiarize with the processes, and gradually proceed with the subsequent asset transfers."

Jing immediately nodded, "Alright, thank you for the arrangement, Miss Spencer. I’ll choose the ’Tang Jin WANO’ in Tokyo Ginza then."

Her choice, of course, wasn’t based on any commercial consideration.

It was purely out of personal preference.

She was familiar with that place, and later she could legitimately invite Tang Song and Qingqing to play some interesting games together.

Seemingly recalling a scene, Jing’s face also reddened slightly, her legs unconsciously tightened.

Tina watched the two young girls opposite her, a faint confusion flashed in her always somewhat scrutinizing gray eyes.

But she didn’t think much more.

The three continued to discuss for a while, finalizing the preliminary framework for the handover.

Tina elegantly rose, her face still bearing that impeccable aristocratic smile, she adjusted her skirt and spoke with her pure English accent:

"Alright, ladies, our club just received a batch of special ’Mother Tree Da Hong Pao’ with exquisite fragrance. I think we should go downstairs and taste it together."

The two promptly stood up to follow.

Accompanied by the attendant, the three headed towards the exclusive tearoom downstairs.

The lighting here was softer, the air imbued with a subtle yet supreme aroma of agarwood and tea.

Circumnavigating the massive zitan wood carved screen, their view suddenly expanded.

In the next moment, their steps simultaneously halted, the expressions on their faces were distinct.

In the tea seat area separated by a large zitan wood carved screen at the far end of the hall, a woman quietly sat there.

She wore a simply tailored cashmere dress, her black hair casually gathered at the back with a simple wooden hairpin, in front of her was a set of ancient Ru kiln tea vessels.

Instead of looking out the window, she focused on the cup of tea that emitted curling white steam in front of her.

Her presence exuded a grace and dignity precipitated by the passage of time.

Tina took a deep breath, a solemn expression appeared on her face.

She proactively approached her side, "Dear Miss Ouyang, what a surprise. My schedule did not indicate you would be here today. It’s truly an unexpected honor."

Ouyang Xianyue slowly raised her head, a faint smile spread in her always calm eyes.

She looked at Tina, her voice small yet clearly reaching everyone present, "The best things in life... (are always encountered unexpectedly, aren’t they, Tina?)"

Then she turned her gaze towards the two young and pretty girls behind Tina.

In a near factual tone, she told Tina, "You’ve just flown back from Europe, haven’t adjusted to the time difference, and have been busy with the new project for the family office. Go to the suite upstairs and rest well. I will entertain them next."

Tina’s smile stiffened momentarily.

She ultimately slightly bowed, responding with impeccable posture, "Yes, Miss Ouyang, you’re right."
