Well that was... disappointing..
Don’t get me wrong, it was still an absolute monster of a talent, one that would be horrible to face off against in the right environment but,

The moment I read the name of the title, I was sure I was on my way to becoming the newly christened shadow monarch, but all I get is this glorified assassin kit that I probably won’t be using for anything...

And it’s only at the EXALTED rank, what if I devoured more and evolved it to SUPREME? What if I evolved it into the true Lifetree bloodline? Then what?
"And speaking of the Lifetree..." my mind had already started spinning ideas the moment I heard my system’s description of what that thing was.
Unfortunately, I had not the means nor the strength to put my plans into action, yet.

Slowly I went through the others, those I’d already gone through before, I skipped, the others I had no particular interest in, I just skimmed through as slowly but surely, I arrived at the one entry I had been looking forward to.
It was arguably my most unstable and dangerous acquisition so far, and I say that after seeing just what Despair was capable of.
"Alrigh then, last but not least I guess." So, taking a deep breath, I willed forth the description of the law..
"Collapse.."
