Chapter 2398: Chapter 2406: She Is Very Bad
"Grace, bring your younger brother over here." Jane Sampson waved to the young girl.
The young girl hesitated for a few seconds, before holding her brother’s hand and taking small steps towards Jane Sampson.
"Grace, do you trust me?" Jane Sampson asked.
"Daddy says you are a good person, that my brother and I can trust you, so, Sister Jane, my brother and I trust you," the young girl said. "The person who came is daddy’s aunt, and she’s bad."
"No matter who comes, we won’t mind her." Jane Sampson waved her hand dismissively, then pointed at Richard Zane, "This is Uncle Zane, I know him."
"Uncle Zane says he wants to take my brother and me to Capital Province, he said you know about this, Sister Jane?" the young girl asked puzzled, "Why is this uncle I don’t know taking my brother and me to such a far-off place?"
"Because my grandfather wants to meet you, and don’t you and your brother want to go to school? Then you should go to Capital Province with Uncle Zane. My grandfather will help you, I assure you, my grandfather is a good person too." Jane Sampson said, "I should have accompanied you back to Capital Province, but I have work to do here, so I don’t have time. If you trust me, then go with Uncle Zane to my family home in Capital Province, the Black Family."
The young girl bit her lips, looked at Richard Zane, and after a while nodded and said, "okay."
Thinking it over, the young girl added, "Can I make a call to Aunt Young first? I want to tell her that my brother and I are going to Capital Province."
Jane Sampson nodded with a smile.
Jane Sampson knew that the young girl was still a bit scared.
However, the girl was smart and knew to make a call to the most trusted Aunt Young to inform her of their whereabouts.
The young girl didn’t hide from everyone while making the call, and once the call was connected, she truthfully explained the situation here.
After a while, the young girl handed the mobile phone to Jane Sampson, saying, "Aunt Young wants to say a few words to you."
Jane Sampson raised her eyebrows in surprise, then took the mobile phone.
"Hello, I am Jane Sampson," Jane Sampson spoke softly, "Grace said you have something to tell me."
"Yes, Miss Sampson, I have something I want to say," the woman on the phone spoke with a choked voice, "Miss Sampson, President Miller and Martin both passed away together, and with President Miller gone, Grace and her younger brother have no one to rely on." freeweɓnovēl.coɱ
"What about you? Weren’t you previously living with the two children?" Jane Sampson asked.
"Once a gentleman, once a minister, with President Miller gone, the Chairman reappointed a General Manager, and the other shareholders wanted to fire me because I was President Miller’s confidant. Naturally, the General Manager, having no connection to me, will not help me." Aunt Young sighed, "After leaving the company, I have been looking for new work, but because I always protected these children, the Miller Family sees me as a thorn in their side, they forced me out of that city, leaving me no place to stand."
"I really had no choice but to leave; if I remained, my family would suffer because of me. I care about those two children, but I can’t stand to see my family losing their livelihood along with me. I want to care about those children, but I’m helpless, I truly have no options left."
Aunt Young began crying at this point, "Miss Sampson, I cannot fight against the Miller Family, but you are different."
