Chapter 128: Chapter 128: The Rising.

Nina and Mrs. Godson were being taken into outer orbit. Ascending beyond the atmosphere for the first time, they were completely awestruck by the majestic sight.

The world behind them shrank into a brilliant blue sphere, while the vast, endless expanse of deep space opened up before them.

"Brother, is this what space actually looks like? It’s so beautiful," Nina said in wonder, speaking as she and her mother sat through an automated medical scan to check for any lingering internal injuries from their captivity.

Neo stood nearby with his arms crossed, the usual coldness in his silver eyes replaced by a rare, gentle warmth. "Eyes can be deceiving, Nina. The void is just as dangerous as it is alluring."

"True," Nina agreed, a dreamy look settling over her tired features. "But I still want to go adventuring in my own spaceship one day."

Just then, Amelia’s gaze drifted past Neo and landed on the strikingly beautiful figures of Zestia and Noir standing quietly near the back of the cabin.

"Who are these girls, my son?" she asked softly, a motherly curiosity in her eyes. "Are you already married?"

Hearing the sudden question, Zestia’s face instantly flushed crimson, and she nervously looked away, pretending to inspect a wall panel. Noir, on the other hand, beamed with a wide, delighted smile, stepping closer to Neo as if silently confirming the implication.

Meanwhile, Leon did not even bother to turn around and look at the family dynamic unfolding behind him. He kept his sharp eyes locked straight ahead, peering intensely through the reinforced glass viewport of the anti-gravity car.

Neo had casually mentioned earlier that a Titan-Class ship was waiting for them in orbit, but the veteran Beyonder simply couldn’t bring himself to believe it. After all, a Titan-Class vessel was a massive, military-grade dreadnought. A single one cost hundreds of thousands of Universal Credits, which was an astronomical sum of wealth that usually only planetary governments could afford.

Neo sighed, "Mother, please. It is not like that."

Zestia went to them, bowing a little.

"I-I am Zestia, Mrs. Godson! I am just a mercenary! Well, technically his subordinate now. He saved my life, so I am just working to repay the debt!"

Noir, on the other hand, fully rolled into the misunderstanding. She glided forward with supernatural grace and gently took Amelia’s hands.

Her abyssal eyes crinkled into a sweet, innocent smile.

"You can just call me Noir, Mother-in-law! I am his most devoted shadow. I will happily tear apart anyone who makes you or little Nina frown."

Amelia blinked, slightly taken aback by the casual mention of tearing people apart.

But she only chuckled, finding Noir’s attitude very adorable.

"Well... it is wonderful to meet you both. I am just glad my son has not been entirely alone."

Looking at the two stunning women, Nina beamed happily.

"You guys are so pretty! Are you beyonders too?"

Zestia puffed out her chest proudly, about to boast about her combat skills, but before she could speak, the light inside the cargo vessel abruptly stopped.

But something else caught their eyes.

The blazing sun and the infinite expanse of stars outside the reinforced glass were suddenly swallowed by an impossibly massive shadow.

There was a deep low-frequency hum that vibrated through their very bones, dwarfing the hum of their own engines.

"What in the..."

Leon’s face pressed almost completely flat against the glass viewport.

Slowly, the Cargo vessel angled upward, revealing the source of the eclipse.

Hovering silently in the absolute zero of Earth’s exosphere was a Titan-Class Dreadnought.

It did not look like a spaceship, it looked a floating, heavily militarized metropolis.

Seemingly forged from an indestructible, pitch-black alloy, its glossy predatory hull stretched for several miles, dwarfing the orbital satellites nearby.

The hull was engraved with glowing blue rune-tech conduits, massive energy-shield generators, and rows upon rows of dormant planetary-annihilation cannons.

The gravitational mass was Immense, enough to distort the surrounding space by a little.

Leon’s veteran composure completely broke. freewёbnoνel.com

His jaw dropped, and his eyes bulged as he stared at the multi-trillions dollars warship.

"Damn! You weren’t joking. You do have one of those conqueror’s flagship! I think a single volley from those cannons could crack a moon in half!"

"Oh My God! Brother, Is that.. our ride?"

Nina gasped.

Her earlier dreams of owning a personal spaceship were instantly overshadowed by the terrifying majesty of the Dreadnought.

Amelia was also speechless, her hands covering her mouth as the colossal docking bay doors began to slowly grind open, spilling a warm, golden light into the cold void of space like the maw of a cosmic leviathan.

"Commence docking procedures, Mr Ghost," Elena announced from the co-pilot seat, her fingers flying across the holographic console to sync with the Dreadnought’s mainframe.

Neo was the calmest of them all. He placed a gentle hand on his mother’s shoulder.

"This is just a vessel to transport us to our new home, Mother. I have conquered a world for you. No one is going to hurt you there."

At this, Nina nearly fainted, while Mrs Godson shed tears of happiness.

She could no longer hold back the flood of emotions.

Ever since her husband had mysteriously vanished into the unforgiving depths of the cosmos years ago, a shadow of insecurity had blanketed her heart. She had spent countless sleepless nights struggling just to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table.

She had forgotten what true safety felt like. Today, that shadow was finally banished.

And it was all entirely because of the unimaginable achievements of her own flesh and blood.

Amelia knew enough about the universe to understand the terrifying scale of what she was witnessing. Conquering a planet, establishing a sovereign military force, and commanding a dreadnought capable of leveling continents was not an easy task by any stretch of the imagination. It usually required generations of accumulated wealth, unfathomable political power, and armies of seasoned veterans.

Yet, her son had achieved the absolute impossible within a matter of mere months. He had ascended to the very pinnacle of power, bearing the pressure of the galaxy simply to protect them.

The moment their feet touched the deck, a perfectly synchronized sound erupted through the cavernous space.

CLANG!

Thousands upon thousands of elite soldiers clad in pristine, heavily armed Zenith Empire armor dropped to one knee simultaneously.

"All hail the Dominator!"

"Welcome home, Holy Mother!"

"Welcome home, First Princess!"

His mother and sister was not secured.
