Chapter 7: Orc Invasion
From inside the box, there was a small hole that Arya could use to look outside.
But because the box was moving forward on the wooden cart, it was difficult for him to see clearly.
The cart kept shaking while moving through the village.
Arya tried looking outside again through the small gap.
This time, he could see more of the goblin village.
Many goblins were working everywhere.
Some were building houses.
Others were carrying wood, weapons, and different materials around the village.
Then Arya noticed something else.
Animal and monster skeletons were hanging around different areas like decorations.
And after they reached halfway through the village—
Arya’s expression changed slightly.
He saw human skeletons hanging there too.
So they have killed many humans before, Arya thought silently.
Soon, the carts finally reached the cave entrance.
The goblins stopped the carts there.
Then two large goblins walked forward and grabbed the boxes.
At the same time, two other goblins opened the massive cave gate.
After that, the boxes were carried inside.
Once everything entered, the goblins came back out and closed the gate again.
Luckily, they never checked the box Arya was hiding in.
Arya was finally inside the cave.
After a while, several goblins wearing the same clothes and masks arrived there.
They took the carts and continued moving deeper inside the cave.
Arya originally thought the cave would be dark.
But he was wrong.
There was light everywhere.
Wooden lamps were hanging on the walls, and some glowing stones were shining with magic.
That means goblins can use magic too, Arya thought.
Then his expression became complicated.
I was thrown away because I don’t have magic. At first, I thought only demons could use magic and other races could not... but I was wrong.
During the past few years, Arya had learned many things about this world.
Humans could also use magic.
But not all humans.
Those who used magic were called mages.
His mother could also use magic, but she was not a mage.
She used healing and support magic instead.
That meant she was a support-type magic user.
Meanwhile, his father was a swordsman.
In this world, everyone was born with mana.
Some became swordsmen.
Some became mages.
Others became support users, archers, or shield fighters. freёwebnoѵel.com
Arya slowly shook his head.
I still don’t know everything about this world, Arya thought.
While he was still thinking—
Suddenly, the box moved again.
The goblins finally placed the boxes down inside a massive hall.
When Arya looked outside through the small hole, he saw boxes stacked everywhere around the area.
After leaving the boxes there, the goblins walked out of the hall and closed the large door from outside.
Then Arya tried to push open the box quietly.
But he could not move it.
Heavy boxes had been stacked on top and around him.
His small body could not push them away.
Arya frowned immediately.
"What the heck is this... why can’t I move this box?" Arya whispered quietly.
On the other side, Ronnie and the others managed to kill all the goblin monsters near the riverside.
Everyone smiled in relief.
At least for now, the village should be safe.
But then— freewёbn૦νeɭ.com
Suman suddenly noticed something in the distance.
He quickly pointed toward the sky.
"Look there... smoke. It looks like fire," Suman said.
Ronnie immediately looked toward that direction.
"That’s from our village side," Ronnie said with a shocked expression.
Without wasting another second, all of them rushed back toward the village.
After running for several minutes, they finally reached the area near the village.
And the moment they saw it—
Everyone froze in shock.
The village was burning.
Fire was spreading everywhere while smoke rose into the sky.
Monster attacks were happening from another direction.
"But we killed all the goblins at the front... how did they reach here?" one of the men said in disbelief.
There was only one main path leading toward the village.
Then another man looked carefully at the monsters attacking the village.
"They are not goblins..." he said fearfully.
"They are orcs."
Large orc monsters were destroying houses while attacking the villagers mercilessly.
The villagers could barely fight back against them.
Many people had already lost their lives.
Fire spread across the village, and several houses had already collapsed.
People were running everywhere trying to survive.
Even the village temple was under attack.
On another side of the village—
Hina and the others were still fighting desperately.
She continued healing the injured villagers while helping people escape.
In the middle of the chaos, a mother and her son hid behind a damaged wall.
But suddenly—
An orc smashed through the wall.
The broken wall collapsed onto the woman’s leg.
She cried out in pain and could no longer move.
"Run!" she shouted at her son.
The boy was crying while trying to pull her free, but he was too weak.
The orc slowly walked toward them.
Its body was massive, and in its hand was a large axe.
The boy refused to leave his mother.
Instead, he tightly grabbed her clothes in fear.
Then a man rushed forward to protect them.
He stood between them and the danger.
In his hands was a farming tool.
His hands were shaking badly, but still he tried to save them.
But the orc struck him down instantly.
Blood splashed across the mother and child.
The boy froze in terror.
Then the orc raised its axe again, preparing to kill them.
The mother quickly pulled her son under her body, trying to protect him even at the last moment.
Her hope was gone, but she still tried to save her son.
She grabbed him tightly, holding him close to her chest.
Her body trembled as she looked around through the flames and smoke everywhere.
Even in despair, she refused to let go of him.
But before the axe could reach them—
A sword suddenly blocked the attack.
The sharp clash of metal echoed through the burning air as sparks flew between the weapons.
