Chapter 11: White Horn Magic

Both monsters, the Goblin King and Goblin Queen, were A-rank monsters.

Arya knew clearly—

If he fought them, he could never defeat them.

Slowly, he tried to step back.

He wanted to leave quietly before they noticed him.

But as he moved his foot backward—

Crack.

He stepped on a broken wooden magic staff lying on the floor.

The sharp sound echoed across the dark chamber.

Arya’s body froze.

The Goblin King and Goblin Queen instantly stopped eating.

Then both slowly turned their heads.

Their glowing red eyes locked onto Arya’s goblin form.

For a moment, the entire room fell silent.

Arya’s heart pounded wildly.

Without wasting another second, he turned and ran toward the door.

He rushed forward as fast as he could. freēwēbηovel.c૦m

But before he could reach it—

The Goblin King disappeared from its spot.

Then—

BOOM!

Its giant body landed directly in front of Arya.

The heavy impact shook the floor.

The doorway was completely blocked.

At the same time, the Goblin Queen moved from behind and came to his side.

She was still holding several dead goblin bodies in her hands.

Blood dripped from her mouth as she continued chewing.

She had been eating dead goblins—

And now she wanted to eat him.

The goblins outside also noticed what was happening.

Immediately, they slammed the heavy stone door shut.

Bang!

Now the way outside was also closed.

There was nowhere left to run.

Arya was trapped.

The Goblin King tightened its grip on the massive wooden staff.

Then it slowly raised it high above its head.

The terrifying pressure filled the chamber.

The Goblin Queen stared at Arya like prey already caught.

Before Arya could even think—

The Goblin King brought the giant staff crashing down.

The attack tore through the air with monstrous force.

At that exact moment—

Arya saw it.

His teleport skill had finally recovered.

Without hesitation, he activated it.

Flash.

The giant staff smashed into the floor.

BOOOOOOM!

The entire chamber shook violently.

Dust exploded everywhere.

The Goblin King and Goblin Queen thought Arya had been crushed to death.

But when the Goblin King lifted its staff—

Arya was gone.

He had vanished from there.

Far outside Goblin Valley—

In the middle of a dark forest—

A flash of light suddenly appeared in the air.

Arya materialized several feet above the ground.

Then he fell hard.

Thud.

He crashed onto the forest floor.

For several seconds, he lay there breathing heavily.

His whole body trembled.

Then he looked at his hands.

I was lucky this time...

His teleport skill had saved him.

If it had recovered even a second later—

He would have died.

Arya slowly stood up and looked back toward Goblin Valley.

His expression turned serious.

Arya thought he should return back to the village before it became too late.

But this time, he could not use his teleport skill.

He had just used it moments ago, and since it was still only level one, he could not use it many times in a row.

It needed time to recover.

Arya knew the direction of the village.

But he also knew it was still far from here.

If he walked all the way back, it would take several hours.

He had no other choice.

So he moved forward.

Now he knew the location of the goblin monster village.

Later, when his teleport skill recovered, he could teleport back here again.

The journey from here to the village was not easy for him.

Because he was now in the middle of the dark forest, where many monsters lived.

He carefully climbed down from the mountain.

After some time, he reached the riverside.

The cold wind brushed past his face.

Then his eyes narrowed.

On the other side of the river—

He saw many wolf monsters.

Some were drinking water from the river.

Others were resting near the shore.

They were bigger than normal wolves.

Each of them had horns on their heads.

The males had two horns—

One small horn in front and one larger horn behind.

The females had only one horn.

They moved in groups.

And they hunted in groups.

Arya’s expression turned serious.

To reach the village, he had to cross this river.

He could take another path.

But that would take much longer.

And there was no guarantee he would not encounter even more dangerous monsters there.

There could be B-rank or even A-rank monsters hiding deeper in the forest.

Because of that—

He decided crossing the river was the better choice.

Arya hid behind a tree and waited.

He hoped the wolf monsters would leave.

But even after waiting for some time—

They showed no sign of moving.

Arya slowly clenched his fists.

He had no option now.

He would have to fight them.

Luckily, some of his energy had already recovered.

Still—

He did not know their rank.

Normally, these wolf monsters were C-rank.

But inside this monster land, even low-ranking monsters could evolve into stronger forms.

If these wolves had evolved into B-rank—

Or worse, A-rank—

Then this fight would be much harder than before.

Then he tried to move forward carefully.

They still hadn’t noticed him, and he slowly stepped ahead, trying not to make a sound.

But the moment his foot landed on a loose stone, it made a sharp crack.

At once, several pairs of blood-red eyes turned toward him.

Arya froze.

He thought that even if they noticed him, nothing would happen because they were still in the middle of the river. If they wanted to reach him, they would have to swim across.

But in the next second, his expression changed.

The male wolf monsters rushed toward him, while the female wolves followed closely behind. They moved into the water—

Yet they didn’t sink.

They weren’t swimming.

They were walking on top of the river as if the flowing water had turned solid beneath their feet.

A white glow shone from the horns on their heads.

Magic.

Arya’s eyes widened as he watched them cross half the river in moments, their glowing horns lighting the dark water.

Now they were almost on his side.

His heartbeat quickened.

If they could walk on water using magic, then these monsters were far more dangerous than he had expected.
