Chapter 6: Not Enough Data

"It doesn’t matter which path a warrior chooses. Any first-rank warrior on the body refining path can generate a force of a hundred kilograms, a force devastating enough to injure an ordinary man..."

"Among humanity, there were already two well-established paths to power. First was obviously the body refining path, and the second path was the magical path created later, and yet the young master was unable to walk any of the two paths..."

This was already an established fact, yet today the young master suddenly wanted to train.

Trisha’s two big eyes were filled with confusion as she scanned Cole’s figure standing upright in front of the iron pillar, his fist tightly clenched.

Looking at this scene, she could not stop herself from worrying. Punching the stone pillar was no joke. A few inexperienced warriors even broke their hands while practicing.

She had tried to stop him several times, but he would not just listen.

What had gotten into him...? In the end, she could only let out an exasperated sigh.

In the past, practicing was the last thing that her young master liked to do. If it wasn’t forced by his father, the Saint Family head, he would not even bother coming here even if the sky collapsed and the earth ruptured.

Unaware of her thoughts, Cole’s eyes were filled with intense focus. The next moment, his vision slightly rippled and a few lines emerged before wrapping around the iron pillar at one particular spot, directly above the center.

[Structural integrity test completed.]

[Host can attack following this path for maximum damage.]

As expected... Cole nodded in his head.

He wanted to see just how amazing this abyssal magical bloodline was that the original was willing to risk his life for. While the downsides of fusing with abyssal blood were obvious, its advantages were real as well.

While thinking, he took a deep breath. His chest expanded outward as the air rapidly filled his lungs. Following the path highlighted by the Saint AI, the muscles connecting his arm with the rest of his figure twitched tightly like a bowstring being stretched to its limit.

Meanwhile, Trisha, who was watching from the distance, was unable to continue watching. No matter how much she loved her young master, Cole’s posture at this time was too sloppy, his center of gravity all over the place. Just one nudge and he would fall on his butt. Meanwhile, his punch—hell, it would be an insult to call it a punch—there was no tightness in the muscles. The entire force was all over the place. Hell, forget about the fact that he didn’t even use his entire body to generate as much force as possible, he was simply moving his hand.

Trisha cringed harder.

Just when she closed her eyes, a loud bang echoed!

Huh!

She opened her eyes to take a look. Immediately, an incredulous look flashed in them.

230!

"How is this possible?!" she roared, unable to contain her disbelief.

Cole only felt a faint wind brush past his figure when he saw Trisha’s petite figure darting directly in front of the pillar, closely rubbing the pillar’s surface, her eyes moving up and down as she muttered something under her breath.

"The motion detection formation is working perfectly... the force matrix is also fine."

"There is nothing wrong with the pillar..."

Trisha could hardly believe the words that were coming out of her mouth.

A force of two hundred-plus kilograms—that was only something a warrior from the body path could generate when they reached the second rank of body refining. But her young master, who just yesterday was weaker than even those disgusting cockroaches...

Then, thinking of something, she grabbed Cole’s arm forcefully and asked, "Young master, are you okay? What happened? Did you fall ill by any chance?"

By the end of those words, drops of crystalline liquid had appeared at the corners of her eyes. Thinking that under her watch something terrible had happened to her young master, she could not help but blame herself for the negligence.

Cole watched the number on the pillar’s surface, then his loyal friend. The corner of his lips twitched slightly.

Well, damn. How do I explain this...?

If he had known something like this would happen, Cole would have purposely held back his strength for some time until he was alone.

Now how to get out of this situation... Cole’s thoughts surged at lightning speed, thinking of all the possible solutions he could use to get out of here.

Just then, he remembered something and spoke with a plain face. The next moment, he patted her head to calm her down and said in a low voice that sounded somewhat sentimental:

"I don’t know why, but yesterday I had the urge to practice the Saint Family body refining technique..."

Cole’s mind worked at incredible speed, thinking of a logical explanation that could get him out of this situation.

Meanwhile, as Trisha continued listening to his explanation, at some point her face had turned incredibly stern.

"Young master, how can you be so careless? Don’t you know that body training techniques are not to be practiced carelessly...?"

As soon as her mouth opened, she started spewing a barrage of questions, scolding him for being careless and not caring about his health.

"If you don’t care about the family, then at least think of your father. Do you know just how sad he would be if something happened to you?"

By the end of those words, Trisha had somewhat calmed down. She could almost imagine the Saint Family leader’s reaction when he saw his son’s state.

Hearing the mention of his so-called father, Cole didn’t know how to react. After all, this was not his real father. In the end, he could only smile forcibly.

Trisha saw his reaction and felt a little bad, but internally she was feeling giddy.

To think one day young master would practice on his own accord without anyone persuading him. As much as she loved her young master, he was stubborn as a mule, never practicing the body refining method on his own, always slacking.

So after a couple more warnings, Trisha left, saying, "Young master, let me bring you a few vials of mana potion. You can use them when you practice next time."

Cole nodded his head, not finding her reaction out of place. In his previous attempt, he had fainted because of lack of mana.

Trisha quickly left, leaving him alone with his own thoughts.

Cole shifted his attention back to something else. Just now, he had used the Saint Family technique to punch, but it was too complicated.

[Saint, can you please make adjustments to this technique so that it is tailored for me?]

[Analyzing the technique, carrying out the assessment...]

[Error! Recalculation failed, not enough data to carry out any progress.]

[Please update the data.]

Hmm, data...

Seeing multiple prompts flashing in front of his vision, Cole fell deep into thought.

Now this was a problem.

Like any AI, Saint AI also needed to be trained on data to function effectively.

All the data that it had was from Earth, where there was no mana, so all that information was practically useless here. Although Saint AI’s calculating ability had improved by leaps and bounds, if the data was not enough, the AI could not do anything.

Just as he was thinking, an idea hit him.

That’s right! Library, there should be enough data in the library, right?
