I grabbed Mio’s arm and pulled her into the teleportation slash to prevent my father make an escalating misunderstanding.
Whatever would happen to Earl Timoti and Duchess Kaori was my father and mother’s responsibility.
My father said he would improvise a ’plan’ that I’m not aware of; whatever kind of plan it is, I will find out later.
It’s not that I’m running away from responsibility entirely; I’m just running away to postpone the responsibilities I must face. If the plan my father was referring to involved the warring seasons between the nobles, it was undoubtedly a multi-layered and complex one.
My hand, which still holding Mio’s arm, pulled her out of the teleportation slash, transporting us back to the dark and cold military expedition area.
"That was so close... to make another... Annoying problem," I said while holding a light breath, after safely escape from my father misunderstanding and feel my sweat.

Ugh, I wouldn’t be able to sleep with my body in a state that wanted to be pampered and cleaned by Mio...

"W-We almost got caught up in my father’s long-term plan, Mio. That so funny and thrilled, right?" I said to Mio.
The exit point of the teleportation slash we used turned out to be not far from our departure point, only a few steps away, and still leaving the magic residue from the teleportation slash wide open.
I quickly closed the teleportation slash that connected to my mother’s underground study and let go of Mio’s arm that I was holding.
"Sorry if I was a bit rude earlier, Mio."
