Chapter 131: Chapter 131 Vulnerable Fox Core
Elara’s POV fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm
Most of all, Finnian’s demanding attitude was strangely endearing.
Doesn’t he remind you of someone?
Who? If I had to say, he’s like he’s waiting for us to devour him.
I smiled, raising my chin to meet the fox’s gaze directly, and teased, "What if I told you I wasn’t into it... would that upset you?"
Finnian went rigid. My response clearly caught him off guard. His hold grew firmer, and he finally forced out through clenched teeth, "No..."
"You’re not being honest." I rose onto my toes, moving closer. "You’re upset that I chose Alistair. That I claimed not to enjoy it."
Finnian shot back, "Elara, I could never feel anger toward you."
"Is that so? Then what’s happening right now?" I questioned.
His words escaped before his brain could catch up. Finnian blurted, "Having sex..."
I blinked, taken aback by his directness.
"Elara, there’s something I’ve been dying to ask you..." Finnian’s breathing hitched.
Gazing at my face so near, his eyelids trembled. The desire to kiss me reached its peak, and his voice had already turned rough and raspy.
"Go ahead and ask." I knew precisely what Finnian was after. I didn’t object to indulging him—but he’d frightened me when he pulled me in here. He earned a bit of torment first.
"If I went into heat as well, would you care for me, Elara?" he questioned.
I grinned, "That’s an odd question, Finny."
"In what way?"
"Every aspect of it is odd."
Finnian panted heavily, the edges of his eyes flushed crimson. His mouth felt parched, yet I kept evading his question. All he could manage was to endure.
He adjusted his position and noticed he was still gripping my hand.
Finnian pressed his lips into a line. I hadn’t agreed—but I hadn’t withdrawn either.
He brought my wrist to his lips. Studying my delicate fingers, he couldn’t restrain himself any longer. He kissed me tenderly, nibbling gently at my skin, sometimes licking my wrist.
As the kisses intensified, his beast ears emerged without his control. He was consumed by the moment when rapid footsteps rang out beyond. Finnian glanced up, his hazy expression immediately focusing.
Finnian smirked and huffed quietly, "About time you tracked us down."
He brushed a lock of hair behind my ear, his voice becoming sweet and vulnerable once more. "Cling to me, Elara."
Before I could respond, his fluffy tail encircled me. After a brilliant flash, I found myself lying on a bed.
——
Silas crashed through the entrance just as Finnian disappeared with Elara.
He gazed at the vacant area, then crushed the rabbit-head pendant in his fist.
"Damn it. That cunning fox planned this deliberately. Finnian could have masked their scent entirely with Void Territory—but he left a trace just to mock me. Revenge for the asylum, pure and simple." fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm
"Finnian... we’ll resolve this later," he snarled.
Silas slipped his hand into his pocket. A bottle of deep violet liquid gleamed within—even more disturbing was the grin on his face.

Elara’s POV
Within the racing spacecraft, Finnian clutched me tightly. His face blazed crimson as he kissed me frantically.
Gentle moans and slick, chaotic kisses saturated the atmosphere. I was already dizzy.
Why are they all this skilled at it? And is this even appropriate?
This is the Finnian I crave—all seductive and frantic. This is the perfect material.
I threw my head back, utterly overwhelmed.
But I feel like my vitality’s being drained. Who claimed we powerful women seize what we desire? Now I don’t even need to attempt—he’s offering himself freely.
Hell.
My own mind was mocking me.
"Your ears..." I finally managed to speak through his ragged breathing.
"Yes. Only for you to caress." Finnian leaned in, reluctantly breaking from the kiss. He cupped my face in his palms and beamed, "You didn’t reject me. I’m so elated."
He kissed my palm.
"Why would you assume I’d refuse?" I asked.
Finnian shook his head. "I’m uncertain. Perhaps because you made me work the land and selected Alistair instead. Or... I believed you didn’t care for me. That you merely viewed me as some adorable companion."
"I do care for you," I whispered, but Finnian caught every syllable.
His eyes sparkled, and he kissed me once more, euphoria radiating from him. "I care for you too, Elara."
I needed a moment. Finnian was too talented at kissing. I was already lightheaded once more.
