He pushed the door open with a dark expression, his eyes fixed on the three people laughing and roughhousing on the sofa.
Each of them was holding a wireless game controller, maneuvering their characters on the large screen.
The screen was split into three sections, clearly showing that the three of them were each controlling a character in the game.
"Susu..." Li Chenlin’s voice was tinged with resentment.
Rosa Meiya didn’t even spare him a glance, saying urgently, "Hey, who’s that? Don’t block the view! I’ve got someone on me!"

Rosa Meiya was thrown aside. His fishtail slipped on the floor, and he fell hard, his tail also knocking over a nearby trash can with a loud CRASH.
The little ones and Yelias heard the commotion and couldn’t help but look over.

There was no response from inside.

A small smile played on Bai Su’s lips as she pushed the door open, stepped inside, and closed it behind her.
The room was filled with a rich, dry, woody fragrance.
Li Chenlin was sitting cross-legged in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, his shoulders slumped.
The room’s lights were off. The window looked out onto the conservatory in the backyard, and the faint garden lights barely illuminated the small area in front of the window. White petals were swept up by the night breeze, drifting past.
It made his silhouette look especially wronged and lonely.
Bai Su’s heart ached a little. She walked over with the food. "Li Chenlin..."
Li Chenlin snorted coldly. Sensing her sit down on his left, he shifted his body slightly to the right.
It was a clear sign of his anger.
Bai Su had no choice but to place the tray in front of him. "I made you rose-wine drunken shrimp. Isn’t this kind of raw food your favorite? Want to try some?"
