Chapter 820: Chapter 820. Morning Tea With The Sylvans.

After that day, Seraphina met with Obsidianis and the other girls. Verdantia, who had gone to check the <Petal Door> out of curiosity, noticed that Seraphina’s petal percentage had jumped from 69% to 84% in a single night. While Seraphina was a bit behind Obsidianis, the difference was basically negligible.

If anything, the jump in Seraphina’s percentage was much sharper compared to the gradual increase from Obsidianis’s petal.

Therefore, after they met, Verdantia glanced at Seraphina with a suspicious look and asked. "So, what did you do with Liu Shu yesterday?"

Seraphina was drinking morning milk tea when Verdantia asked, making her choke. After coughing a few times, Seraphina glanced over with a speechless look. "So early in the morning, and you are asking these things? No, you have not even said good morning yet!"

Verdantia scoffed, crossing her arms under her voluptuous chest. "What, are you shy? You have done something more than kissing, have you not?"

Obsidianis, who had been listening leisurely, flinched. Her ears perked up as she shot a suspicious look at Seraphina. ’She has not gone all the way... right?’

She wanted to think that, but seeing Seraphina’s faintly blushing cheeks, her heart jumped. ’No way.’

Meanwhile, Seraphina asked, a bit confused. "That... I have not done what you are thinking."

"I know." Verdantia dismissed her easily, confusing both Obsidianis and Seraphina. "I was speaking about something else."

’Do we look that harmless?’

Their pride was a bit hurt. They didn’t know that Verdantia said so because if they had gone all the way, a new absurd buff would’ve probably swept the entirety of the Golden Sap Empire. Therefore, until that buff appeared, they had nothing to fear.

Cinderielle, who had been listening, glanced at Verdantia suspiciously. "Why do you know? Did you ask Green to spy on them or something?"

"Would I do that to my precious baby?" Verdantia rolled her eyes. "It went from 69% to 84%, so I am curious."

Tempestria’s eyes widened faintly. "Wow. That big of a jump?" Looking at Seraphina, there was a hint of respect in her eyes. "What did you do last night?"

Obsidianis asked, confused. "What’s that percentage thing you are speaking about?"

Harmonixia chuckled. "For now, it is a secret. You will know the day you truly capture Liu Shu."

Once more, Obsidianis felt a bit looked down upon. "Are you saying that I have not yet captured Liu Shu?"

"She loves you." Harmonixia generously admitted to that fact. "However, she still doesn’t love you as much as she loves us."

Obsidianis leaned back and hummed, her eyes scanning the four "veteran" wives. Even Seraphina was suspicious because of how certain they seemed.

"Either way." Seraphina took a sip of the milk tea. "We did go... a bit far."

As she began speaking, she wondered if this was something that she should say. Still, seeing Obsidianis’s gaze sharpening, a small impulse blossomed in her heart. She blurted. "We did kiss and such, but Liu Shu also said that she would give me a little child... I still don’t understand her words, though, since she only did it... orally."

"Orally..." Obsidianis blinked and then scowled. "You really don’t take your time, do you?"

Seraphina smirked at her. "Why, several years together, and you still have not done something like that? I am sorry for you~."

Obsidianis rolled her eyes. "Childish provocations."

The Light Sylvan chuckled faintly. "But they work."

Obsidianis clicked her tongue, but she didn’t deny it. She was feeling quite bothered that her "competitor" had taken the lead.

Cinderielle leaned on her fist, her elbow resting on the table. "Since you were sucked dry, the child will be a plant species. She probably said something about it, right?"

Seraphina smiled embarrassedly. "I... um, didn’t hear her. I was too spaced out."

Tempestria laughed. "Well, I understand."

Once more, the Darkness Sylvan was confused. "Do you have that little stamina?"

While she had not done it, Obsidianis could tell that her... magazine was quite ample. Forget just one—if Obsidianis had other lovers, she was confident in satisfying five of them easily.

Knowing what she was thinking, Seraphina looked at her with a complicated look. It was as if she were seeing a naive little girl boast about her maturity. "You’ll understand in the near future."

Verdantia clicked her tongue at Obsidianis. "We’ve been in an open hot spring together, so you should know that we are not much different. Did you think that we were holding back?"

"Were you not?" Obsidianis was bewildered. "Are you saying that Liu Shu can take on all four of you?"

Her words would’ve been perfectly valid from an ignorant perspective. After all, outwardly, Liu Shu’s Avatar appeared like a girl who would get tired after just 20 minutes of intense exercise. Tempestria decided to guide her thoughts. "It seems that you are forgetting that Liu Shu’s petite body is an Avatar, Obsidianis."

"I have not forgotten." Obsidianis defended herself.

However, Tempestria raised her eyebrow. "Then, what makes you think that you’d have more stamina than a World Tree? Even if it is her Avatar, do you think you can bring her down?"

The hand reaching for a pastry stiffened. Tempestria laughed. "Actually, satisfying her is quite easy. What’s difficult is tiring her out."

In truth, Liu Shu’s lust was not the kind to control her. If they wanted, a relatively short session of 30 minutes every now and then would be enough. Of course, since they were four wives, and soon six, the time between the turns turned Liu Shu’s nights into quite long physical activities.

Any other normal female would’ve probably died of exhaustion and dehydration by now.

But Liu Shu...

"Good morninggg!" A cheerful and refreshed voice reached, and looking over, they saw Liu Shu jogging toward them.

Their eyes couldn’t help but move down, and up, and down, and up... Ahem. Obsidianis coughed. "Love, did you forget your bra again?"

Liu Shu paused abruptly, and the motion created another session of high waves. She blinked and smiled sheepishly. "Hehe. I did! I’ll be right back!"

And so, the girl trotted away happily again. This time, her backside was the one that acted like a magnet for their gazes. "Violeeett! I forgot my braaa!"

The girls saw the average-height woman with incredible curves pause and sigh with a smile, turning around with the trotting Liu Shu. After she left their sight, the girls reached out and drank a rather long sip of their morning milk tea. Their throats felt a bit dry.

"Anyway." Seraphina changed the subject. "We were talking about the child or something. What is that about?"

Honestly, Seraphina was feeling a bit nervous. Was she going to be a mother so suddenly? While she had prepared mentally, her palms felt sweaty!

Cinderielle laughed and glanced to the side. Her orange-colored eyes landed on the large, red-colored tree, and smiled. "She will probably give you a child like Red and the other girls.... Speaking of which, baby, are you listening?"

"Yes, Mom!"

Red answered softly, and Cinderielle spoke. "If your mother, like usual, plants Seraphina’s baby, make sure to tell us."

Obsidianis chuckled. "Does she forget?"

"When it is a humanoid child, since she takes some time to give birth, there is usually no problem. However, for her plant children, which are much more numerous, Liu Shu usually plants them in an ideal location and lets them grow."

Since Seraphina and Obsidianis didn’t think of Liu Shu as an irresponsible mother, they asked, curious. "Why is that?" freeweɓnovēl.coɱ

Verdantia explained. "Plant children take quite a bit of time to develop actual intelligence. So, leaving them there alone is actually best. It’s just that, even when this zone is basically perfectly regulated, we want to make sure the baby grows well."

Obsidianis understood. "So, it’s like leaving your child with a trusted nanny, but just in case, having a camera to monitor them left behind?"

"Exactly." Harmonixia laughed. "I didn’t expect you to get it so easily."

Obsidianis shrugged. "I’ve been reading some maternity books."

Tempestria’s eyes lit up slightly. "I usually like to read them as well. They are incredibly varied, aren’t they?"

Due to the numerous species living in the Golden Sap Empire, including even plant species, the number of maternity books was in the hundreds. Each of them showed how to take care of children born between Sylvan/Human, Beastkin/Human, Alraune/Human, Sylvan/Tree, etc.

Remember that Sylvans, while they usually prefer humanoids, had plenty of plant creatures to choose from as a partner. Take Verdantia’s father, for example. He is a vine plant species that Verena met and eventually fell in love with.

Seraphina added. "Speaking of that. Do any of you know what species our babies will be?"

They had heard about how Liu Shu’s Avatar only gave birth to Alraune variants. Therefore, they were curious. "No idea."

Alraune species related to the Darkness attribute were numerous, while Alraune species related to the light attribute were basically unheard of. Obsidianis sighed. "I read about a few of them, I just hope it is not one of those weird species."

Cinderielle smiled awkwardly. "You should probably expect it. Do you recall what my babies are?"

"Right." Obsidianis couldn’t help but recall. "Sanguine Blazes... I am still astounded you’ve managed to actually tame that alraune species. They are considered Taboo even in the Covenant."

Cinderielle smiled proudly. "It was a bit of a struggle. However, after having a few of them, I got the hang of it." Her eyes softened. "Actually, Sanguine Blazes, once they overcome their innate romantic love for their mothers, are incredibly good partners. They are devoted, loving, and their children won’t prey on their Sanguine Blaze mothers."

"Oh?" Seraphina blinked. "I didn’t know that part."

Cinderielle chuckled. "If that was the case, the species would’ve gone extinct by itself, hahaha."

Thinking about it, that would have been the case, wouldn’t it? "So, as long as the Sanguine Blazes are the ones bearing the children, everything else is okay?"

"Yes." Cinderielle nodded, and then her gaze turned a bit complicated. "There was one time when one of my grandbabies couldn’t hold back and impregnated their female partner. It was quite a mess for a little while."

Verdantia smiled. "Thankfully, we discovered that their innate abilities can be purified with S Rank spells."

Intrigue filled the Darkness Sylvan. "What are those buffs, by the way?"

"Brainwashing of the mother to love their child madly. They also give them astounding strength, purify their bodies, and much more. So, if a strong female gives birth to one, the female will go berserk to protect it and destroy everything around it. Then, she will become the baby’s childbearing mother."

"..."

Cinderielle smiled. "As I said, I educate all my girls to learn these things. So, even on the off-chance that one of them becomes rebellious or evil, we’ve thought of plenty of countermeasures."

The two newcomers couldn’t help but give Cinderielle looks of admiration. ’To have tamed such a species into a docile and loving alraune species... as a mother, she is truly someone to look up to.’
