Chapter 137: Chapter 137 Integrated Reconnaissance-Strike Drone System

Sunny, who had been resting in its sleeping area, perked up instantly and trotted out toward her. The dog’s tail wagged excitedly as it reached Ivy, clearly delighted to see her.

“I’ve been thinking...” Ivy said inwardly, her gaze fixed on Sunny. “Is there no way to split a dog into ten? I know it’s not real in a physical sense, but more like an illusion....something I can still command and interact with.”

She paused briefly, then continued her thought process.

“It would be like creating replicas of Sunny... but stronger. Illusionary units I can equip with armor and deploy in battle. I need them powerful enough to bite through even a monster’s neck and since they’re illusions, they wouldn’t suffer infection.”

She glanced at Sunny again.

“I know it sounds like a stupid idea, but I believe you can do it. In fact, I’m sure it’s possible.”

Ding!

{You are correct, Host. I can create an illusion of Sunny and integrate it with the armor you purchased.}

“Good. Then do it, please,” Ivy replied immediately, her thoughts firm. “I need military-grade dogs. It will reduce the workload for both me and Darren.”

Almost instantly, Sunny’s body shimmered.

Then it split.

One became ten.

Ten identical versions of Sunny stood in formation, each one perfectly synchronized, each wagging its tail in the same excited rhythm. Ivy quickly equipped them one after another with the combat armor she had purchased.

Darren stood frozen.

He couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

He rubbed his eyes repeatedly, blinking hard as if that would reset reality but it didn’t. The sight remained unchanged.

Black armor now covered the illusion dogs’ bodies as they barked softly, tails still wagging despite their imposing appearance.

Protective plating shielded their vital areas.

Even their heads were fitted with reinforced tactical helmets.

They no longer looked like ordinary pets.

They looked like elite military beasts.

Ding!

{Only monsters and individuals with abilities can perceive the dogs. Normal humans cannot detect them.}

“That’s perfect,” Ivy replied with a warm, satisfied smile. freeweɓnovel.cøm

“Do I need to bring Sunny with me physically?” she asked after a brief pause. “I don’t want to risk it. The battles ahead are becoming more dangerous by the day.”

Ding!

{There is no need, Host. The illusions are fully under your command.}

“Good,” Ivy said softly. “Let’s see what else I can buy from the system shop.”

She turned her attention back to the interface, scrolling through the available items until her gaze suddenly locked onto something far more expensive than anything she had purchased before.

An item labeled:

Integrated Reconnaissance-Strike Drone System

Cost: 10,000 Points.

Her eyes narrowed slightly.

Ding!

{Functions Available: Patrol, Automatic Threat Detection, Alert System, Autonomous Strike Capability, Target Tracking, Night Surveillance.}

“It’s expensive... but extremely useful,” she murmured under her breath.

“I want it.”

Ding!

{Integrated Reconnaissance-Strike Drone System purchased successfully.}

Ivy nearly cried as she watched the points deduct instantly.

“My points...”

Moments later, a large metallic container materialized within the compound with a heavy mechanical thud.

A second later, the container opened.

Several drones lifted into the air one after another, their rotors humming softly as they spread out and began circling the surrounding territory. The system immediately linked them to the broader territorial map, highlighting zones of potential danger.

Live footage appeared instantly on Ivy’s system interface.

Every road, every building, every shifting movement within several kilometers was now visible in real time. Nothing could escape detection.

“We just have to wait for the drones to reach the exact territory,” Ivy said aloud this time, glancing at Darren.

“Then we’ll know exactly what kinds of monsters we’re dealing with next.”

Darren, still visibly stunned by everything he had witnessed, finally nodded slowly in understanding.

“...Yeah,” he replied quietly.
