Chapter 78: Names 1
Max chatted with them for a while and confirmed that beside their names, they couldn’t remember anything from their past life.
But when he asked them if they had desire, they shared the same sentiments.
To kill the demons!
It was a pounding declaration, compelling Max to ruminate. The desire to kill the demons in their past life might be the main factor they were reborn as a Radiant Knight.
Interesting.
Max recalled Branna and he was intrigued. I wonder if Branna will become my Radiant Knights soon.
He shook his head and recalled his knights to what the system called "Conclave Network."
In the Conclave Network, the Radiant Knights would recover inside. The recovery duration was relative to his Knight Recall’s proficiency.
Max summoned the Ranger Corps’ Radiant Knights.
Three of them manifested in front of him, kneeling with one knee while bowing deeply, dropping their weapons to the floor.
Max glanced at the Radiant Marksman first. He wore light armor with enchanted vision lenses. His cloaks were woven from radiant threads.
He explained he focused on high-precision ranged attacks. He had a long bow and a short sword on his waist. They were all at Rare rank.
Max read his skills.
Precision Shot (Enhanced accuracy attack), Piercing Arrow (Penetrates defenses), Longshot (Extends attack range), Weak Point Analysis (Identifies vulnerable targets), and Suppression Volley (Provides ranged pressure).
He’s really difficult to deal with in long-range, huh? He has a short sword, so he can definitely protect himself at least to buy for some time.
Max focused at the Radiant Pathfinder in the center.
He wore minimal armor and he has enhanced sensory runes covering his helmet and cloak.
He used a recurve bow and daggers. His focused was on scouting and battlefield information gathering.

Mana Detection (Detects magical signatures). Enemy Tracking (Identifies movement trails). Shared Vision (Transmits visual information). Hidden Presence (Reduces detectability). Area Survey (Scans surrounding terrain).
His skills are more centered around reconnaissance rather than attacking.
He was undeniably a Scout. He couldn’t help but recall Jasper.
He shook his head and glanced at the Radiant Skirmisher.
He wore the lightest armor among the Radiant Knights. It was simply streamlined for movement.
He used a shortbow and twinblades. His combat style was hit-and-run tactics.
Max read his skills.
Rapid Volley (Quick succession attacks). Evasive Roll (Improves survivability). Harrier Strike (Attack while moving). Swift Pursuit (Improves chase capability). Disengage (Rapid withdrawal maneuver).
So, this is what it means to have a skirmisher? I wonder why there’s no assassins. These three are more inclined in war.
The Radiant Marksman himself can actually assassinate from a distance. freewёbn૦νeɭ.com
Truly, a terrifying corps of rangers.
Max was filled with astonishment. He was disappointed at first for not getting a Radiant Assassin, but he believed it would manifest once he reached B-rank.
The Radiant Marksman was his replacement as an assassin.
He had also began to accept that his Radiant Knights at the moment were more focused on war.
Max swept his gaze at them and interviewed them one by one.
Like the previous Radiant Knights, they couldn’t recall their memories except their names.
The Radiant Marksman name was "Owen", the Radiant Pathfinder name was "Damien", and the Radiant Skirmisher name was "Damon."
Max chatted with them for a while and concluded that their loyalty seemed to be soul-bound rather than earned.
He planned to be recognized by them soon since they possessed consciousness.
He didn’t want to them refuse believing on him at a crucial moment.
Max recalled them to his Conclave Network and summoned the Mage Corps—specialized in magical warfare.
Three of them manifested in front of him, lowering their head while kneeling with one knee, dropping their weapons to the floor.
Max glanced at Radiant Arcanist. He wore silver-white robes covered in luminous runic inscriptions.
The floating spells circles Max remembered earlier during the battle against the early Greater Demon was absent, seemingly only manifesting during combat.
He used arcane staff and spell tome. His combat style was on direct magical offense.
Max read his status and realized that he had the most favorable stats than any others.
He wasn’t surprised.
The stats of his Radiant Knights depended on his stats, as well.
At least sixty percent of his stats was copied by them.
Different Radiant Knights has different focused stats, so they still had their own main stats, albeit, it couldn’t surpass Max’s stats at all.
It was at this moment Max’s knew he had to invest in every stats, including strength.
He sighed.
He read the Radiant Arcanist’s skill.
Radiant Bolt (Basic attack spell). Arcane Lance (Focused magical projectile). Mana Burst (Area damage spell). Light Spear (Armor-piercing spell). Arcane Amplification (Temporarily increases spell power).
Max was honestly jealous of the amount of skills he had.
There were three offensive spells and one disruption skills. Not only that, he also had a spell power amplification temporarily without side effects such as weakening in every aspect.
Max sighed helplessly. He wouldn’t be surprised that the Radiant Arcanist was actually an Archmage or higher in his past life—definitely not Archmage Arlen.
Max glanced at the Radiant Barrier Mage.
His robes layered beneath plated magical armor. Multiple floating barriers orbit his body.
He used barrier staff and defensive grimoire. His combat style was focused on protective magic and battlefield defense.
Max was more intrigued to him since his specialization was protecting against magic offense.
He already had an idea of having the Radiant Barrier Mage and Radiant Arcanist fighting against each other to increase their skills’ proficiency.
All of their skills’ proficiency was at the intermediate level. They definitely had more to improve.
Max read the Radiant Barrier Mage’s skills.
Barrier Projection (Creates magical shields). Defensive Field (Protects multiple allies). Damage Absorption (Converts damage into mana loss). Reinforcement Rune (Strengthens defenses). Sanctuary Zone (Creates a protected area).
Max was astonished. He planned to teach the Radiant Barrier Mage a multi-casting spell to stack his spells at once, providing a more tough magic shield that could definitely protect against an A-rank spell, at least...
