Chapter 316: An eternity with you (3)

Aurora heard cheering and claps behind her and Vincent. Voices she knew mixed in with voices she did not know.

"Hey! There are children here!" Derek yelled, covering the girl’s eyes when Vincent looked as if he was going to devour Aurora. Vincent was acting like a sex-deprived brute in his eyes. "You’ll get to do as you please tonight-Ow!" He turned to Jane.

"Do not ruin their moment," Jane said but she made sure to keep the girl’s eyes blocked. She didn’t need them to be curious about kissing yet. She wanted to stay the little innocent ones they were now who cared more about dresses and toys than wanting to kiss a boy. She was not ready for them to get older.

"Vincent," Aurora gasped after finally managing to pull away from him. He kissed her like he had not seen her in years when he had seen her last night before leaving to sleep at Victor’s home. "I need to breathe."

Vincent took in the sight of her plump lips, her chest slowly rising and falling as she tried to settle herself, and then there was the dress she looked absolutely beautiful in. He didn’t mind clearing out the room and making love to her right here, right now.

’I cannot ruin this for her,’ he repeated in his mind. Aurora would want to experience everything he prepared and chat with everyone before they would be left alone tonight. As much as he wanted to be alone with her right now, he could wait. Besides, they just bond themselves to each other for an eternity. They already did years ago. So, he could be patient no matter how much he desired to have her now.

Aurora’s stomach twisted and turned because of the look Vincent was giving her now. The words from people approaching them were drowned out in her ears. She knew what the look he was giving her meant. It was their wedding day after all so it should be expected he would lust after her. She bit her lip without thinking and judging from his grin, he knew what was on her mind.

"Congratulations!" Cherry yelled, throwing flower petals over the couple. She was surprised Vincent had not snapped at her. He was most likely in a trance thanks to the beautiful dress she created. "What do you plan to say to Vincent in your vows that we cannot hear?"

"I want it to be something between the two of us and I felt nervous doing it in front of a crowd. It is weird to express the things you feel for someone in front of others like this. Maybe we should have used the vows many people use at their weddings and then say our own in private. It would not have ended so quickly," Aurora muttered, regretting not being prepared for the vow part. ƒreewebɳovel.com

Still, she believed that everything was happening for a reason. She still enjoyed the ceremony with the vows skipped and she would get to hear what Vincent would say later.

"I wouldn’t have missed the chance to express my love for Victor in front of all of you and make you jealous. I’ve made up my mind to have a wedding just like this one," Cherry declared.

"Don’t you need to find someone to marry you first?" Vincent asked, intending to piss her off.

Cherry responded with a glare. Even on a happy day like this Vincent could not help being annoying. "That does not concern you. Victor and I will get married in the future or perhaps soon," she said, glancing at Victor who nervously smiled.

"One thing you should not do is rush a man to marry you, Cherry. Nature is odd so you two might not end up together. He’s not the first man you slept with and technically we should only have one mate so-" Derek paused to dodge the flowers Cherry aimed at him.

"Shut up! The world is changing and our traditions are. I declare Victor as my only mate and that is final. Do not make me bring up what I know about your past,’ Cherry said, pointing a finger at Derek.

Derek grabbed her finger and pointed it elsewhere. "Nice try but I have only been with Jane. I saved myself for the right woman. I had no choice but to since I was working hard to earn money. We cannot all be free with ourselves like you can be, Cherry. That is something I admire about you," he added in a compliment to end the feud.

"Nice try but I won’t let you get off so easily by saying I slept around. It is true but I was not the on;y one doing it. Not everyone was fortunate enough to find their mates easily and settle down. And if they did, their mates took forever to confess their feelings," Cherry said, sneaking a glance at Victor.

Victor could never be bothered by her past relationships because he did a bit of exploring during his time of denying his feelings for her.

Derek looked around the room only now noticing how empty it started to become. "When the hell did Vincent, Aurora, Jane, and everyone else leave?"

Cherry’s mouth fell open as she also realized they were left behind.

Victor used his hand to close Cherry’s mouth before a bug could make her mouth a new home. "Vincent led Aurora out shortly after Cherry started to talk about marriage and everyone followed behind the couple. They aren’t far," he said since footsteps weren’t too far out of the room and he could smell the flowers Aurora carried in her hands. "We should join them."

They weren’t meant to stay in the old castle too long. After the ceremony, Aurora would get to look around at the numerous flowers Vincent decorated the castle with, chat with those who came, and then they would head back home for where the real fun would begin.

"Jane!" Derek exclaimed, leaving the couple behind to find his family. Though there were many guards surrounding the castle, he only trusted himself to protect his family. fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm

Cherry hooked her hand with Victor’s and leaned her head against his shoulder as they walked to join everyone. "You will marry me, right?" She asked, needing to hear him say it.

"Of course. Do not mind Derek. He is a fool," Victor replied.

"I heard that Victor!" Derek yelled from outside the room. "You’re surrounded by werewolves who have good hearing. Be a man and talk about me to my face Victor!"

Victor rolled his eyes. "As I said, a fool."
