"Now is not the best time for you to interrupt your sister and that man," Vincent said with a grin.
Aurora quickly caught on to what Vincent was hinting at and could not believe Regina would want to be intimate with Timothy already. "He has not given her a ring. Then again, Regina has never cared about traditions. It’s still quite a shock that she is getting married to Timothy of all people. Enemies keep changing to lovers. Just like us."
Vincent buried his head in Aurora’s chest, enjoying her scent. "I don’t recall being your enemy."
"You were always annoyed with me. You even tried to kill me once," said Aurora. The memory of it was embedded in her mind.
"You and your siblings loved playing too many games. I did not try to kill you. I just tried to throw you away from being so close to me. Not like you would have died."
"Yes thank you. It’s so good to hear the man I am in love with and plan to marry say that. If not for Artemis, I would have made Victor become the new alpha but Artemis did not wish to deal with the headache. You then saved yourself by falling for me and being kind. How lovely I am to have the alpha fall for me," Aurora gloated.
"Yes yes," Vincent said, leaning back to look at her. "But I have to be one of a kind as I made a being who was not meant to have emotions fall in love with me."
"It is not a contest," Aurora stated solely because she didn’t like how true his words were. She was created just to serve Artemis and did not have a clue what emotions were. She experienced many of them thanks to Vincent so his ego would be through the roof.
Vincent looked over his shoulder at the water he had running for them in the tub. He had left it to run slowly so he could take his time with Aurora. "Allow me to help with taking off your dress. I shall keep my promise," he innocently smiled but he was not being honest. With the two of them naked in the water, anything could happen.
Even now as he was standing here, Vincent felt a burning desire to have her on the counter.
"You are more of a fox than a wolf. You are far too sly. If your hands try anything funny, I will leave to take a bath by myself," Aurora gave him a warning.
She sat quietly while Vincent slowly undid the buttons at the front of her dress to torture her. Once the last one situated near her belly button was undone, he pushed the dress off her shoulder and down to her waist.
Vincent stared a the black garment she no doubt got from Cherry and concluded that he loved seeing her in black more than the traditional white garments.
Aurora placed her finger under his chin and lifted his head so that he would be looking at her eyes. "You were staring at me quite long, mister wolf. I’m starting to think you won’t keep your promise. Keep your hands to yourself," she patted his chest as she slid off the counter. Her dress fell to the floor the moment she stood.
Vincent followed her every movement as she walked to the tub and turned off the water before it could spill over. It was so hard to keep his promise when she looked alluring right now. It thrilled him even more than she was not intentionally trying to seduce him.
Vincent pulled his shirt over his head and then unbuttoned his pants while Aurora mixed the soap in the warm water.
"I remember the times I used to play around in the cold lake water at night to wash up. As fun as it was, I am thankful for warm water. I just," Aurora paused the moment she looked up at Vincent and found him stark naked. She averted her eyes as she had told him a moment ago about staring.
Unfortunately, Vincent had witnessed her staring. "My eyes are not down there, Aurora. Practice what you preach."
"That does not count. I was caught off guard by you just being naked. Your ability to walk around like that amused me," Aurora muttered as she fidgeted to take her garment so that she could get into the water. "Hey!" She gasped when the garment suddenly came loose and when she looked down, she saw that it was ripped. "I liked this!"
"You were taking too long. Have you changed your mind about getting in with me?" Vincent asked.
He left her side to get into the water first. Given his tall frame, the tub would not be comfortable for him. "He should invest his wealth into bigger tubs," he grumbled.
"You are just too tall, Vincent. Far taller than you look and it’s not like Timothy was expecting to one day have the big bad wolf in his home. Why are you frowning? Do you not enjoy being called the big bad wolf? It will make it more enjoyable for me," Aurora giggled.
"Can we bring back the extremely shy version of you? I like when she would talk about being proper and would try her best to not look at me. It was fun to see her hold back."
Aurora dropped the torn garment to the floor and hugged her body as the cold air in the bathroom nipped at her skin. She placed one foot in to get used to the warm water and then another. Thanks to Vincent’s large frame, she ended up sitting on his lap to give the two of them some comfort. "I am still that girl. It wasn’t proper for you to rip that garment," she stated simply to amuse him. "Have you fallen out of love with the old Aurora and fallen in love with the soft-spoken one?
Vincent spread his arms across the edge of the tub and with all his might, he kept his eyes on Aurora’s face. "I love Aurora. It was just entertaining to mess with the shy version of you. I’m afraid I have to break my promise now, Aurora. I cannot resist the urge to kiss you." fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm
Aurora’s mind started to change now that she was close to him. There was nothing else plaguing her mind with worry or revenge. All she thought about was Vincent and their future. She desired to get closer to him as she missed the pleasure she felt the last time they made love until morning. "You can break it," she encouraged him.
