Chapter 268: Finding Regina (5)
"Timothy, why are you invading my personal time with Aurora?" Regina questioned him since he was walking behind her and Aurora. "Don’t you have something to do?"
"There’s a werewolf, witch, and whatever Aurora is on my land. Of course, I am going to follow you. If the King was still alive, he would have me hung for-"
"Aurora, do you know I could have been queen?" Regina loudly spoke over Timothy.
"Really? How?" Aurora asked.
"Timothy was chosen to be the next king and he would accept it if I didn’t mind being his queen. If I was normal, I would have taken the chance to become a royal. I always felt like I was meant to be a queen on the inside," Regina placed her hand on her chest.
"You can still become queen. No one has to know what you are and having someone like you as queen will help people like us be safer. You can stop hunters from going after people like us. It is something you should really reconsider Regina," Aurora suggested.
"It is a bit dangerous for me to become queen. And what if the children I have with Timothy show signs of being like me? What if people try to harm them? I don’t have the spotlight on me for people to nitpick and find something odd about me. I shouldn’t be marrying Timothy if I wish to hide and have a quiet life," Regina glanced over her shoulder and found Timothy frowning.
"We could always move to someplace quiet. It would not be the first time I have moved around," said Timothy. He was not going to lose Regina when he was so close.
"Relax, Timothy. I have already said I would marry you and I am not going back on my word. You will attend my wedding right, Aurora? You can wear whatever disguise it is that you have. By then, we’ll have dealt with my family so you would be free to visit. Please," Regina begged, pouting her lips to make Aurora agree with it.
"I wouldn’t miss your wedding, Regina. It is a miracle that I do not want to miss. After countless years of not wanting to get married, you have finally changed your mind. I will need to find a way for you to witness when I get married. Werewolves don’t like-"
"You’re getting married too?!" Regina exclaimed in complete disbelief. "When? Tell me the details of how he proposed to you. Should I even allow this when I have not completely approved of the man you are with? I need to have a serious chat with him."
"You are my little sister, Regina. I am supposed to be the one approving or disapproving of your marriage. Right now," Aurora snuck a glance at Timothy. "I am deeply confused by the relationship you two formed. Enemies to lovers are interesting.
"Aurora," Vincent appeared before the trio.
"Vincent, I found her easily thanks to overhearing a couple of maids talking. The first room I assume to be his bedroom was the correct one. You should really make all your doors the same so it is not easy to find your bedroom," Aurora advised Timothy.
"Noted," he replied.
Timothy inspected the man they were referring to as a werewolf. It was interesting how such deadly creatures could easily blend in amongst humans.
"You’ve met Regina before. Vincent, this is Timothy. Timothy, this is Vincent," Aurora introduced the two men.
"So you’re a werewolf," Timothy said as he held out his hand to greet Vincent. ƒгeewebnovёl.com
"The alpha to be precise," Vincent gripped Timothy’s hand causing him to wince.
’They brought the alpha into my house. I am definitely dead if my father finds out about this,’ Timothy thought while he soothe his hand.
"Now that we’re all together, we need to start thinking about how we’ll deal with my family. Should we just kill them or lock them up somewhere and never let them see the light of day?" Regina threw out options.
"Regina, I know you have your issues with them but they are your family. Perhaps it is best you do not get involved. I do not want you to see me hurt your family. Your mind can change-" freёweɓnovel.com
"No, it won’t. My family are not good people and what they did to you, they would do to someone else. Look how Minnie could easily decide to throw me into a cell and I know she planned to use every ounce of me since I can perform spells. Minnie deserves to die for the people she’s hurt," said Regina.
"What about your father and mother? What about Samuel? Do you honestly wish for them to die? You have always loved your father, Regina. I know you do. Do not think you must wish for them to die because of me. If you want, I will only deal with Minnie."
"I truly loved my father but I don’t know if he would ever protect me from Minnie or stand by her side while she uses me. He’s witnessed the things Minnie did and has never done anything to stop her. I have never felt like I had a mother because she only cares for Samuel. And Samuel, I cannot forgive him for not being there for us when he needed him," said Regina.
She continued to say, "I will be generous. My mother and Samuel should be left alive but I don’t want them to keep what never belonged to us. I will burn the home we grew up in down to the ground. Samuel and my mother will be fine with the business our family owns. I am coming with you, Aurora. Nothing will stop me from doing what I have on my mind."
Aurora sighed, knowing she couldn’t stop Regina when she was so determined. She wasn’t around to know what Regina endured from her family therefore she could no longer try changing Regina’s mind by reminding her this was her family. "Very well. Let’s start planning how we will end all of this once and for all."
