Chapter 256: Sisterhood (3)

"So, you are telling me that Aurora being a child from your father’s affair had been a lie? Why did they go through all of that trouble to cover up who she was? They could have said she is the daughter of a dead relative," said Timothy.

"Yes but then I am thinking Minnie was scared anyone who didn’t like her would start digging around to see what relative they were referring to. Although my family has replaced the original Hamiltons and got rid of all evidence, there must have been something left to show we are thieves and murderers but I don’t know what it could be."

Regina also did not understand why her family decided to say Aurora came from an affair. It took a hit in her father’s reputation and her mother was embarrassed. "Why didn’t they just lock up Aurora and use her when the time came?"

"You said Minnie used to be friends with Aurora before her memories were cleared again. There is a possibility your grandmother might be feeling guilty about something. As much as she wanted to use Aurora, she might have felt guilty about it and made Aurora live as her grandmother. The two of them seemed quite close whenever I visited," said Timothy.

"I agree. Minnie, Aurora, and I have always been close. Minnie would defend Aurora against my mother. It’s when Aurora started to rebel against what Minnie asked her to do that Minnie’s personality started to change. She must have felt like Aurora was starting to remember something. If Aurora were to return, Minnie might wipe her memories and create a new life for her but this time, lock up Aurora."

Timothy couldn’t believe the Hamiltons had such secrets. "I was perfectly justified when I told my parents I did not want to visit Samuel at your house. I didn’t even want to be his friend." freewebnøvel.coɱ

"I can’t object to that. My family is messed up," Regina agreed with Timothy. She didn’t want to be associated with her own family.

"Are you sure you are okay with all of this? You are close to Aurora but she is not your blood relative. I can have your family thrown into a cell instead of them dying," Timothy suggested. Regina wouldn’t have to worry about her family hurting anyone and they would still be alive.

Once she killed them, there was no way to bring them back unless she dipped into dark magic. However, if Regina were to do such a thing, Timothy would have no choice but to intervene. A witch practicing dark magic was dangerous and would eventually lose themselves. He would never allow that to happen to Regina.

"I don’t care what anyone says. Aurora is my sister and nothing will ever change that. In order for her to be safe and for me to be free, I have to get rid of my family forever. I could really use your help, Timothy." Regina had no one else to help her go up against her family but Timothy.

Esmeralda ran the moment Regina needed her so Regina was not going to depend on Esmeralda for help. Quite frankly, Regina never wanted to talk to her again and she was curious about the soul Gilbert mentioned was hanging around Minnie. The soul could be Esmeralda and if Minnie had somehow been able to see her, there was a possibility that Esmeralda was playing both Minnie and Regina.

Regina had not forgotten what the witch said about souls. If needed, Regina had no problem with getting rid of both mother and daughter. Esmeralda was already dead anyway.

"Everything comes with a price," Timothy tapped his cheek.

"Really? You’re going to use this as an opportunity to get a kiss out of me?" Regina rolled her eyes.

"I am going against a family with witch blood, who wiped someone’s memories, killed a ton of children, and just recently tried to throw their own flesh and blood into a cell. I think I should have been given a kiss without having to ask. So come one," Timothy motioned for her to come to him.

"You are so foul," Regina said but unlike her words, she stood up to give Timothy the kiss he requested. It was so small considering what she was asking him to do for her. "Do not get accustomed to this."

Regina kissed Timothy on his cheek just as he asked. It was simple and harmless. Many young girls would kill to be in her position. As her face was close to Timothy, Regina realized how handsome he truly was. She always called him ugly as a joke though she knew he wasn’t. However, with new emotions stirring inside of her, he looked much different than normal.

Timothy had the power to make her through all her beliefs out the window. The ones about never getting married and loving someone. Regina didn’t like that she was falling into the cliche of marrying her childhood enemy. Her younger self would laugh at how ridiculous she looked having these thoughts about Timothy.

"Did you just fall for me, Regina? One kiss on the cheek shouldn’t be enough. Let me show you," Timothy carefully pulled her onto his lap. He was thankful a fist wasn’t coming toward his fists for doing this. It was clear that Regina was curious about what he was about to do and wanted to see how her body would react.

Regina was fully aware of Timothy’s attraction to her the moment she sat on his lap. She wasn’t a fool to not know the bulge she felt against her buttocks was Timothy’s body reacting to her own body. Though there were clothes blocking them from truly feeling each other, it felt good to have Timothy against her.

"Are you going to kiss me or just have me on your lap?" Regina asked. She was dying on the inside to know what it would be like to kiss Timothy. Would it confirm she was starting to feel something for him or would she not like it?
