Chapter 163: Special (2)
Vincent started off slow, a little afraid he might’ve read the moment wrong and she hadn’t meant for him to kiss her. He was reassured when Aurora started to move her lips against his welcoming the kiss. He took a sigh of release unconsciously and wrapped his arms around her waist to bring her closer to him as if that were possible but just as he did this, Aurora pulled back a little bit and glared at him.
"Did you just sigh in the middle of our moment?" She accused him.
"Not important right now," he stated, wanting to go back to their previous activity rather than arguing with each other. "Can I?"
"Without the sighing, yes."
"Good," he placed his index finger under her chin to keep her where he wanted her.
Vincent went back to kissing her again and like before, Aurora followed the movement of his lips with her own. He had wanted to do this since the time she came back but knew it wasn’t right. This one kiss was building up something in him making him know this was not enough. "Fuck," he cursed.
"What-Ah!" Aurora gasped as Vincent lifted her up out of nowhere to hold her up in his arms but her dress was making it hard.
"Do you mind if I tear this dress? I will have Cherry make another one."
"I don’t mind. You’re the one that bought it," Aurora grinned. Her heart rushed as the fabric was torn and now she was being held up by Vincent and her feet wrapped around his waist. "I am enjoying this welcome home party," she snickered before going back to kiss him.
This time, she took the initiative to use her tongue to explore his mouth as they kissed, and Vincent, as always, followed along. They lick and tasted each other’s mouths with an occasional bit on the lip from Vincent which Aurora didn’t mind.
Taking a step further, one of Vincent’s hands which were placed under her thighs to keep her against him had started to creep its way up her leg as the other hand was used to keep her still. He trailed his hand up her thigh and stomach, only stopping when met the curve of her breast. Testing her out, he went up further and flicked her hardened nipple with his finger, earning the most pleasant sound he ever heard in his life from Aurora.
Vincent grinned against her lips as he planned out their night in his mind.
"I can feel you grinning you brute," Aurora stated, not liking the fact that his ego was growing because of the reactions he was getting from her. If she was going to become a mess, so did he. She started to unbutton his shirt to see the splendid body she had missed running her hand against. "Two can play at teasing," she whispered.
"Show me," he slightly commanded her.
"Holy shit! Are the two of you really going to have sex in the dining room? Where people eat?!" Derek exclaimed, covering his eyes so he wouldn’t have to witness what Aurora and Vincent were doing. His eyes had been damaged from the sight when he walked in. freeweɓnovel.cѳm
Vincent rolled his eyes, annoyed that their moment was being ruined before it could even get started. He was more confused at how he didn’t pick up on anyone entering the house so that he could shield Aurora from their eyes. "Look away Derek," he said, placing Aurora on her feet to fix her appearance and it was now he noticed how much he had ripped the dress.
"What on earth do you think I have been doing? I don’t want to watch another couple have sex. I am not into that. And since when have the two of you become a couple to do this kind of thing? She is always nervous when she gets around you. Vincent, don’t tell me you-Ow!" Derek groaned when he was smacked at the back of the head by Vincent.
"Stop talking," Vincent told him. He looked behind him seeing that Aurora had fled and for the second time that night, he sighed. "Why are you here Derek?"
"Hey, don’t sound so sad. I was enjoying my time with my wife till someone came banging on my door talking about vampires attacking the gates and then on my way there I was informed that Aurora and Cherry had been kidnapped. Victor is having a wild party. Other than that, this feels more than just a coincidence," Derek concluded. He took a peep over his shoulder to see if Vincent had calmed down his earlier entertainment.
"No. We were able to kill that group of vampires easily and upon inspection, they were humans. The vampires must have tried turning them but the humans couldn’t control the effects and became savages. They don’t normally send those kinds to us because they won’t put up a good fight. That was a distraction for Aurora to get taken or maybe something else."
Vincent knew he should have found it suspicious how his uncle didn’t put up a fight when Vincent ordered him to fight against the vampires. His uncle would use that as an alibi to clear his name.
"Someone’s getting favors from the vampires. Doing that will cause them to lose their life here. A werewolf secretly working with vampires and having coordinated attacks isn’t good for the community. We have to get rid of them as soon as possible. Vampires won’t make a deal with a werewolf unless it is something big in return. Do you think it’s your uncle? You had the suspicion that he had worked for them."
"Who else has been the leading person to plot my life and the people around me? He must be impatient to become the alpha again. Putting the community at risk, working with vampires, and putting Aurora at risk is the end for him. I have set aside the fact that he had a hand in my parent’s death and left him alone but now I won’t ignore it. From tomorrow, train the men double. Something big is coming," Vincent ordered Derek.
Back at the Hamilton home, Regina found it hard to sleep even with a pillow covering her head to drown out the noise. There was a continuous knocking sound in her bedroom but when she got up and looked around, there was nothing there.
"What the hell is going on," she quickly sat up looking around for the reason behind the noise again. Yet again, she found nothing. As Regina was about to go back to sleep, she noticed something odd by her bedroom door. "Great grandmother?" She muttered.
Regina watched the woman and saw that she would knock on the door after a pause. "Why are you knocking on my door?" Regina asked. She got off the bed to get closer to the woman who hadn’t answered her. "Esmeralda?" She called the woman’s name but there was no response.
Regina saw the woman’s lips to be moving like she was saying something but there was nothing to be heard. She slowly reached out her hand to touch the woman and was shook when Esmerald looked up at her and said, "Don’t kill her."
Regina was lost for words as she had no idea who Esmerald was talking about. "Is someone coming to kill me?"
Esmeralda snapped out of her state hearing Regina’s voice. She looked at her great-granddaughter then at the door she had been knocking on. "So this is where he did it."
"Who did what?" Regina said. She pushed the fear growing to get questions from the woman since she would know many family secrets.
"My father. I don’t remember much of it, just knocking on the door and begging him not to kill her. Why did they give you this room? I hate it!" Esmeralda yelled, banging her hand against the door. "Why did they give you this room? Why did they give you this room?"
"I don’t understand. What happened to you in this room?" Regina asked a little shaken up by the woman’s antics but now she was concerned by what had occurred in this room.
"My husband, he locked me in here when I told him not to kill her. My father came in later and said sacrifices had to be made. He forced something down my mouth and my body became weak. They left me here to die and they trapped her here. Why did they give you this room? No one heard banging against the door. All of them ignored me."
"Your father and husband killed you? They kept telling us you were sick and passed away. I don’t understand. When you say don’t kill her, do you mean Aurora?" Regina was trying to process what she was being told. How many people were killed in this house?
"They took her and they got a witch to place a spell on her. They came back and took my heart for the witch to eat it and become stronger. I did nothing but cause Aurora to be trapped here when she was just helping me," Esmeralda sobbed remembering the faint memories of the night she died. Her soul had never been able to leave the house because of her guilt.
