Chapter 105: Chapter 105 Wedding Plans
Elara
I watched as Orion broke free from Dominic and ran to my side. His eyes were bright with excitement.
"Aunt Elara, can I be your ring bearer at your wedding?" he asked, bouncing on his toes.
"Of course you can," I smiled. I couldn’t resist his charm.
"Yes!" The little boy grinned. "How many bridesmaids will you have?"
I didn’t have many close friends. Hannah was definitely my best friend.
"Right now, I’m thinking one. My best friend."
Orion’s eyes lit up. "Is it that pretty lady I met last time?"
I suddenly realized the little troublemaker hadn’t given up on his crush yet.
"Orion, that lady is already engaged to someone else. Besides, she’s just my coworker."
Orion was old enough to understand. His little shoulders dropped. "Oh, Miss Nancy is getting married."
His sad face broke my heart. I gently touched his hair. "Don’t be sad. Your dad will find someone."
"My dad..." Orion’s voice got quiet as his head dropped. "Never mind, Aunt Elara."
The sad look on his face made my heart hurt.
"You can come stay with us anytime. I’ll always take care of you," I promised.

From across the room, Dominic was watching them with a frown.
Hunter was talking to him.
"Really," Hunter said loudly. "Jealous of your own nephew. Come on."
Dominic’s lips curved into a small smile. "What’s wrong with being jealous?" he said playfully. "If I didn’t get jealous over my wife, you’d complain about that too."
Hunter had no answer for that.
"Tell Elara that I’m not making you have the wedding right away," Hunter said. "If you need to wait, that’s fine. You two decide."
Dominic nodded. "I understand."
Finally, after many long goodbyes, Elara left with Alpha Dominic.
In the car, Dominic told Elara his father’s message about waiting if they needed to.
Elara laughed softly. "We really don’t need to wait. Dominic, delaying would be unfair to you."
She looked at him directly. "When we agreed to this marriage, part of the deal was having this ceremony to shut down the gossip about you, right?"
"Don’t worry. If my grandmother were well, she wouldn’t want me to wait either."
Dominic didn’t refuse.
He couldn’t wait to officially announce to everyone that Elara was his mate. frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓
"By the way," he mentioned casually, "Yardley reserved the conference room at your hotel."
Elara was caught off guard. "Won’t that be awkward for Yardley ? Doesn’t his department have regular places for meetings?"
"It’s not a problem," Dominic said.
His voice softened. "If he chose your hotel, it’s because he believes your place meets their needs. Don’t feel bad about it."
As they stopped at a red light, Dominic suddenly leaned closer to her.
"You’re my wife," he said quietly, his breath warm against her ear. "Being looked after is your right."
Elara’s heartbeat skipped as his closeness sent warmth rushing through her. "My hearing is fine. You don’t need to get so close."
He chuckled, his voice low and rough. "Elara, do I need to spell it out for you? I’m flirting with you."
The sound of car horns behind them broke the moment.
Dominic sat back and pressed the gas, but not before Elara caught his quick look at her red face.
The heat had spread from her ears down to her neck.
For the rest of the drive, Dominic went back to his usual calm self, no longer teasing her.
The moment they arrived home, Elara practically ran inside and shut her bedroom door hard behind her, afraid that the shameless wolf might follow.

The next morning, Elara went to the hotel early.
She wanted to make sure everything was perfect for the meeting with Yardley’s team.
To her surprise, she ran into Nancy there.
"Nancy, you’re here too?" Elara asked.
"Elara, I’ve been here with my department counting inventory. Today’s our last day. We should finish everything up."
Elara suddenly remembered it was the end of the month. It was unusual to see a Finance Director personally handling inventory.
Elara looked at Nancy with respect. "Well, I’ll let you get back to work. I need to go upstairs."
Nancy smiled slightly as she watched Elara leave. Elara later learned that Nancy didn’t actually need to be there for such basic work.
Since Nancy was new to the company, she wanted to work with her team to carefully check all equipment and supplies, fixing the accounts.
Many employees hated this boring task, so her presence helped motivate them.
"Director Nancy, we’ve finished floors 1-10, half done," one of her staff reported.
She nodded. "Let’s continue upstairs."
The meeting started at ten, and Elara watched as Yardley arrived, surrounded by his team.
Outside the conference room, he gave her the slightest nod. ƒгeewёbnovel.com
Elara stayed nearby throughout the morning session, not daring to leave until they finished.
Yardley stayed behind as the others left, approaching her.
"You don’t need to wait on me," he said quietly. "Go get some lunch."
Elara chose her words carefully. "Mr.Wolfe, is there anything that needs changing for the afternoon session?"
"No need. Everything is set up perfectly. Thank you."
They kept things strictly professional in public.
Yardley stepped aside. "They’re waiting for me. I need to go to the dining room."
--
The employee lunch room was on a different floor from the private dining area reserved for their special guests.
Nancy was walking with a cup of tea in her hand, distracted by her ringing phone as she searched through her bag.
She ran into a solid chest, her paper cup falling.
Her eyes widened in shock as she watched the dark brown tea stain spread quickly across his light gray suit.
For a moment, everything stopped.
Nancy quickly pulled tissues from her pocket and began wiping at his chest. "I’m so sorry! Take off your jacket, and I’ll have it cleaned right away!"
The man’s eyes got darker, a cold light flickering in their depths. His cool fingers wrapped around her thin wrist. "Nancy, I can handle this myself."
Nancy looked up, realizing who it was as she stared at the handsome face before her. It was Orion’s father—Yardley Wolfe.
