Chapter 191: Chapter 191

Aria’s POV.

Sophia exhaled softly, playing innocent. “What did I do? The accident that made Nathan take care of me? I really didn’t expect that after calling Collins, Nathan would rush over so fast. But I heard you got blocked at Hemsworth Group. Infact, I am seeing you being streamed live...Sounds... chaotic over there.”

Her fake show of concern and guilt coated my tongue with bitterness. My wolf growled, recognizing manipulation. fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm

Before I could spit out a reply, a deep male voice cut through the line.

“Sophia? Why are you up?”

It was Nathan.

My pulse stilled. Even without seeing him, I could picture him approaching her.

“Even if you weren’t hurt, the doctor said you were shaken up. You need to rest,”he said.

“Nathan... I’m fine. Aren’t you supposed to be with my sister today? Helping her handle the PR mess?”

“Hm. I’ll stay with you for a bit.”

Their soft, warm conversation drifted through the line like a blade dragging across my skin. My hand tightened around the phone until my bones creaked. My wolf pressed against my ribs, hurt and furious.

Without another word, I hung up.

The dull beep rang in my ears, sharp as rejection.

Outside, the crowd closed in.

“Aria, stop hiding!”

“Luna Aria! Face the public!”

“Aria—!”

Their shouts were a storm. They were loud, angry and relentless. My wolf hated being cornered. The pressure made my lungs tight.

Collins locked the doors and held his breath.

Meanwhile, my thoughts spun around Sophia, Nathan, their voices overlapping in my head like an echo designed to break me.

For a heartbeat, I felt like a lone wolf at sea...adrift, hunted and drowning in noise.

Then a deep, magnetic voice boomed.

“I’m Jonathan Anderson, CEO of Celestyr Brand.”

The crowd froze. freewebnovel.cσ๓

His voice carried alpha authority, the kind even wolves respect. I rolled down my window, spotting him as he stepped forward. He had golden hair that caught the light, eyes like winter skies. His posture was straight and impossibly composed. He wore a perfectly tailored suit that gave him an air of nobility.

He had perfect facial features and stood over 6 feet tall with a muscular, toned body that looked like they carved specifically by the heavens. He looked like a greek god. I was stunned. I had never seen him before, only in pictures.

The people surged toward him, forgetting me entirely.

“Are you really Jonathan Anderson? As in the Alpha Jonathan Anderson of the Moonshadow pack in Veridale?”

“Why come to Asterfell?”

“Is Luna Aria truly your shareholder?”

Their excitement buzzed through the air like electricity. Jonathan ignored them all as his bodyguards carved space around him.

“All statements from Celestyr Brand including mine—are true,” he said. “I came to meet this invaluable shareholder of mine myself. I have great respect for her.”

The crowd reeled.

My wolf lifted her head proudly.

When Jonathan turned to me, those blue eyes fixed on mine with a familiarity that made my heart stutter.

He approached slowly until he stood in front of me.

“Aria Darvin,” he said, bowing politely.

A man of his status bowing to me?

Even my wolf paused, we were completely stunned.

I got out of the car, holding my head high despite the earlier chaos. “Alpha Jonathan.”

“You’ve always been a valuable ally to our brand. I hope you won’t hold the delayed statement against us,” he said, his voice gentle as rain.

“Your support was... unexpected,” I admitted.

“A blessing,” my wolf whispered.

“No,” he corrected. “We are very fortunate to know you. Asterfell is unfamiliar to me, will you join me for a meal? Perhaps guide me around the area?”

I nodded. “I’d be honored.”

He placed a hand lightly on my waist. He was gentle and respectful. My wolf didn’t snarl or snap. She simply... watched....curious.

As we walked away from the chaos, no one dared step in our path.

Online, the world exploded.

“Aria is a Celestyr Brand shareholder?!”

“Jonathan Anderson flew across continents to defend her!”

“This isn’t clarification...it’s protection.”

Then Celestyr Brand released the design sketches of the dress I wore with a statement.

The gown worn by Luna Aria is a one-of-a-kind creation by designer Selina, custom-made with no possibility of plagiarism or imitation!"

The statement was followed by a video of the creation process. Every accusation against me shattered instantly.

Apologies flooded the internet.

I smiled as I walked into the restaurant with Jonathan.

“I’m truly grateful for your presence,” I said, bowing my head slightly. “I didn’t expect you to get involved. It’s... a great help.”

Jonathan let out a soft laugh. His scent brushed against my senses. My wolf sniffed cautiously, intrigued. His gaze lingered on me just a heartbeat too long, warm and teasing, before he turned away with that effortless, aristocratic smile.

“We have some connections,” he replied lightly.

I already knew that. My instincts rarely misfired—not since the awakening of my wolf after prison. But even with his casual tone, I could sense a faint flicker of pride under his calm surface.

As he spoke, he seemed unusually relaxed... almost playful. It was strange, considering he was an alpha who commanded boardrooms in his own right.

“Selina,” he said, addressing me by my design alias “your previous works brought us our best sales in years. I can’t wait to see your next creation.”

My cheeks warmed, though my wolf preened, her tail flicking at the praise from a powerful alpha male.

But then I remembered something and became serious.

“About the two unreleased dresses from the previous designs I made...what happened to them?” I asked.
