Chapter 94: Chapter 94

Cecil whipped his head around to find Alois staring at him, now it was his turn to ask what that had to do with anything...

It wasn’t right too, the difference in their social standing, the fact that they were both Alphas, there was just so much that wasn’t supposed to happen...

Alois lightly flicked his forehead. "You’re thinking too much again."

Cecil rubbed his forehead. "I’m not, and you shouldn’t..." He trailed off, sounding unsure of his words. ƒгeewebnovёl.com

Alois looked amused. "Says who? Is that what you want?"

Cecil was a bit agitated, he wrung his hands, uncertain of what to do with them. "It doesn’t matter what I want..." He started to say but Alois had already heard enough.

He held Cecil’s waist in both hands and leaned in slowly for a kiss, giving Cecil all the time in the world to refuse him. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm

Cecil held on tight to the edges of his damp silk shirt, a storm going on in his head. This wasn’t the response he had been expecting when he mustered up the courage to spill his tightly held secret. It was something Leeson and Perry didn’t even know.

He stared up at Alois with hope in his eyes - what he wanted? What he wanted. No one had ever asked Cecil what he wanted before. If he could dare want something and be offered it without judgment, would he take it? He answered his own question by putting his hands in Alois’ hair and pulling him in for a kiss.

Although Alois had been one to suggest it, he was so shocked that he froze up for a few seconds. Cecil had never taken the initiative to kiss him before, it made his heart beat a little too fast.

He recovered in time to take control of the kiss, deepening it to stop Cecil from pulling away, his hands starting to wander.

Cecil felt his breath hitch when Alois swept a heated palm over his side, both of his hands buried under his untucked shirt. He usually just let Alois kiss him but this time he chased his lips as well, leaning all of his weight on Alois.

Alois was the one to break off the kiss, it was quite an unusual day they were both having. "You know what I think?" He asked, holding Cecil’s face in both of his hands.

Cecil’s stare fell a little lower than eye level, lingering on Alois’ lips. He barely paid attention to Alois’ words, far too distracted. "Hm?"

"It doesn’t matter what family you were born into, it’s not like you have control over that." He said in a soft voice, gently brushing his thumb over Cecil’s cheek. "It also doesn’t prevent people from turning out terrible."

Cecil had to drag his eyes up again, crying had emptied him but kissing Alois filled him back up again and he was far from full. "Kiss me?" He simply asked.

After all, Alois had been the one to ask him what he wanted.

Alois didn’t hesitate to resume their kiss, pulling Cecil dangerously close to the edge of the counter so that they were pressed up against each other. He still wanted to knock Giselle out with his bare hands for making Cecil cry but she also had her uses.

Nael remained in the water after winning the swimming competition because it was the only safe space from Kais. From the pool, he could see his friends seated in the mini stadium surrounding the large pool, they had come to watch him.

The outdoor swimming pool was even larger than the indoor one located at the swimming club and as he took his swimming goggles off and wiped away the water from his eyes, he saw Errol heading over.

Nael drifted over to the direction Errol was coming from, a soft smile on his face reflecting the bright one Errol sported.

Errol crouched by the poolside to talk to him. "You were awesome! I didn’t even know it was possible to move that fast underwater."

Nael absorbed Errol’s praises and glowed like the sun, he might have tried a little hard just for this. "Thank yo..." He started to say, his words cutting off when Errol started to fall into the pool.

It had been an unfortunate accident; an Omega walking behind him hadn’t been watching where she was going and she bumped into Errol who had been precariously balanced on the tip of his toes.

There was no saving him, he fell right into the pool, his panicked reaction getting absorbed by the water.

Nael caught him right away, holding him a little too close although Errol could swim. "Are you alright?" He asked in concern.

Errol gasped, and frantically wiped the pool water off his face. "Yeah." He spluttered, holding onto Nael’s shoulders for balance.

"I’m so sorry!" The Omega bowed in a flurry, her voice getting high-pitched in her panic. "I wasn’t looking at where I was going, I’m so so sorry!" She bowed again.

"It’s fine." Errol managed a smile. "I’m fine, see? No harm done." He reassured her.

She thanked him and hurried away, her cheeks red from mortification.

Errol let Nael hold him close by the waist for a few more seconds before breaking the silence. "Aren’t you going to get out of the pool?"

"Hm?" Nael hummed, looking distracted. "No, I’m fine."

"Well, I’m not," Errol said tartly. "It’s uncomfortable to swim with all your clothes on."

Nael saw the opportunity and jumped on it, not letting it pass him by. "Then let me take it off for you."

Audie and Valentin had started for the pool when they saw Errol fall in, so they got to them at this point. "Stop flirting and get out of the pool before you both catch a cold," Audie called out, earning him a dark look from Nael.

Valentin helped his brother out of the pool, and a member of the swimming club was kind enough to provide a towel for him. Fortunately, the track wasn’t that far from the pool so he could change into his uniform while leaving his clothes out to dry.
