Zhuo Jie’s voice startled Gu Lin. She subconsciously raised her hand, a Gemstone held between her index and middle fingers, and looked ahead warily.
The sight stunned Gu Lin.
A hundred meters ahead, a woman sat in the shade, her back against a tree trunk, calmly watching them.
The woman’s skin was as white as snow, and her long, jet-black hair shimmered like Obsidian. It cascaded from her ivory forehead, obscuring half her face. Her lips were as luscious and red as fresh blood.
Even more startling, she was wearing a form-fitting, black evening gown that revealed a perfect figure. While not overtly provocative, it gave off a strange sense of perfect proportion—as if adding or taking away a single detail would spoil the whole effect.
The afternoon sun dappled her form, making her look like a beautiful, unearthly illusion.
Zhuo Jie and the other three exchanged glances, their wariness heightening in unison.
Encountering a beautiful woman dressed like this in a remote forest was bizarre, no matter how one looked at it.
Facing their wary gazes, the woman simply offered a faint smile. Her expression was elegant and composed, her features impeccably exquisite. Her crimson eyes swept over the four of them, finally landing on Gu Lin. She stared for several seconds before a flicker of surprise seemed to cross her eyes.

A hint of keen interest appeared in the woman’s eyes as she looked at Gu Lin.
"Among all the humans I’ve met, the scent of your blood ranks in the top five."
At these words, the color drained from the faces of the three Wizards.
Zhuo Jie’s expression grew grim, as if facing a formidable enemy. His gaze locked onto the woman as he asked in a deep voice, "A vampire?"
The woman glanced at him and smiled faintly, a silent confirmation.
Gu Lin gasped softly.
’No wonder her aura and appearance are so exceptional, and she has blood-red eyes. She’s a vampire!’
There are countless varieties of Undead, but it is generally accepted that the Witch Demon is the highest form of their existence, followed closely by vampires.

Gu Lin understood this as well. After a moment’s thought, she nodded without hesitation. "Fine. I’ll make the trade."
