Naivara was always alone from birth, as she had no friends, and even in those parties she attended, every man gazed only at her body curves or private parts, which often made her uncomfortable.

In a luxurious room, small Naivara said this to her mom.
Her mom smiled sadly and replied.

Small Naivara nodded as she asked.
"Mother, can we go to the island that we went to last time?"
Her mom nodded.
On a beautiful beach two people were playing; one of them was Naivara and the other was her mom.
"Mother, this place is so beautiful; I always want to stay here!"
Naivara’s mother smiled at her daughter’s happy face.
The whole surrounding was burning along with the huts, and people were running away from the attackers.
"Mother!!!"
Naivara shouted at her mother to call her back but-
"Run, Naivara, run away!!"
Her mother shouted as she cut down the demon, who had suddenly invaded the island, while trying her best to protect Naivara.
But the next moment Naivara’s eyes widen as she raises her hands toward her mother to warn her.
"Moth-"

But it was too late; her eyes widened as a female demon who looks different from others suddenly appeared behind her mother and pierced her body with a red dagger.
"NO!"
She screamed when she saw this; her mother also got stunned from the sudden attack, and then she felt her body become weak, but as her body started falling toward the ground, her worried gaze only followed Naivara, who was crying as she extended her trembling hands towards her.
The female demon saw all of this and laughed at Naivara before disappearing in black light, leaving her in despair.

"If she hadn’t insisted on going to that island, then maybe her highness would be alright."
"What do you think? Why has His Majesty summoned her?"
The maid who cursed her with a dissatisfied face heard her coworker’s words.
On this her face changed to even more dissatisfaction.
"What else? She would have killed someone or crippled again."

The other maid who was cleaning the photo frame paused and gave a small look toward the Naivara, who was moving like she didn’t care about their talks.

"Huh? Isn’t she going to be offered on the ritual day anyway? Then why does she care about other men’s gazes?"
Naivara heard the gossip of maids with one ear and let it out with the other ear.
"It’s not the first time; even though she knows her fate and knows that these maids are of her stepbrother and sister, she never shuts them up."
Naivara thought about one time she killed one maid who talked bad about her, but instead the sea king punished her harshly.

Naivara’s pupils widened as his majestic voice entered her ears, but the next moment she sighed and let it be.
"Then someone else will be chosen for ritual?"
Naivara got a little curious and asked back; on this, she shut her mouth the next second.

But surprisingly the sea king answered, but she got even more confused after hearing this, and then his voice came again.
"Your marriage is going to happen with a talentless human hero, and it will be just a formality!"
Naivara’s eyes widened. "Human? Talentless hero? Formality?"

Naivara suddenly felt uncomfortable because she saw Luke enter the temple hall with Selene hand in hand while they were laughing.
"I will challenge you to a duel of honor."
"Idiot" Naivara saw how he lost his control when someone proposed to Selene.
Then a thought comes into her mind.
"If someone proposes to me, will he also challenge them?"
But the next second she shook her head, because there are thousands of men who would be there to propose to her.
"So how many can he even beat?"

Then she shook her head, because her fate was already decided.

Naivara got surprised because she just came to Stormveil County to congratulate Count Magnus and his family, but she never expected to find him as well.
But then she saw how close Aurielle and Luke had become.
"Is that what a husband and wife relationship looks like?"
She questioned in her mind as she saw Luke asking worriedly toward Aurielle, and she felt a little uncomfortable about this.
"NO!"
This thought comes into her mind as she sees her guardian attack Luke.
"Is he alright?"
Naivara thought worriedly and moved toward him, but her outward expression didn’t change.
"DON’T TOUCH HIM!"
But Auirelle suddenly shouted at her, and she instinctively backed away.
She felt a pain in her heart as she saw Aurielle taking care of Luke.

But when she heard Oryn talking bad about Luke, Naivara felt irritated, though even she doesn’t know why.
"All that was a lie!!!"
But when she heard this word, her mind went blank for a second.
Because she knows she is just some trophy and no one will care if something happens to her.

But those words feel kept echoing in her mind, and it feels genuine, and for the first time a little hope ignites in her heart.
Because maybe a miracle will happen and he will somehow save her? Wouldn’t that be good?
Wouldn’t she get loved by a husband instead of just being a plaything for men?
Wouldn’t he also hold her face worriedly and look at her eyes lovingly like he looked at Aurielle’s eyes?
But Oryn says all this was a lie. "Did Luke really lie to me?"

The guardian saw this and realized the situation was turning bad, so she hastily shouted at Naivara.
Naivara paused slightly as she heard her voice but then continued, like she wanted to teach him a lesson about breaking the only hope she held.
Naivara summoned tens of water spears and launched all of them at once at Oryn.
BOOM! BANG!
An explosion occurred at his location, forming some small dust cloud, but soon it was removed by wind.
Everyone watched as a small blue spherical barrier formed, shielding the prince.
"Naivara, what are you doing? Stop this immediately."
Oryn shouted at her as he saw the energy of the barrier was rapidly depleting.
The guardians, seeing that her words are not having any effect, also got worried.
Because she couldn’t attack the princess, but she also had to save the prince.
Then she said something which finally stops Naivara.
"Princess, His Majesty will not be happy if he finds that you have harmed the prince."
Naivara finally stopped as her face changed to horror because she remembered whenever she didn’t listen to his words, he gave her very harsh punishment.
She gritted her teeth as her eyes soon returned to their normal color, along with her hair, then she gave a death glare to Oryn, who flinched upon seeing it.
But the next moment, Naivara turned around and started walking toward the Count’s mansion.
"Saved."
Oryn took a breath of relief as he saw she finally left, and with the help of his silver guardians, he stood up and dispersed the crowd.
The patrolling guards of the territory also left without questioning anyone.
The golden guardian saw all of this, then left one here to guard the prince while she followed the princess.
