’Attack, Speed, Defense, Health, Control?’ Aidan was surprised to see such attributes.

[Yes, Player Aidan. You are a special lifeform in a sense now. These transcendent attributes will determine the parameters of all micro and macro aspects of you. Please refer to the following information to understand the attributes.]

[1. Attack will determine your damage, be it your punches, kicks, or any kind of magical damage from any technique or talents. It is the potency of your physical power and magical power.]

[2. Speed will determine the speed of everything. Your thought speed, your movement speed, and any speed that takes time to happen, like the activation of a spell or anything else.]

[3. Defense will determine the toughness of your body, mind, and everything defense-oriented, including your defense-type techniques and magic.]

[4. Health will determine the life force of your physical body, as well as your soul body. It determines your vitality, your well-being, and your endurance, means your physical stamina as well as your mental stamina.]

[5. Control will determine all kinds of control-type aspects, such as your control over your body in all areas and levels, as well as the control of your combat executions and magic.]

Aidan blinked.

’I see. And what’s with my Health? Why is it Divine-10?’

[The force you cultivated by enduring the Darkness of Despair for over a billion years has translated into your Health.]

’Wait, with that much Health, I am basically immortal, right?’

[No, you are not, Player Aidan. Please tread your life as a Transcendent Player carefully.]

’Yeah, I got it. No way I am throwing this life away.’ Aidan’s eyes sharply blazed with resolve.

His eyes then went to Talent and Inventory.

’Trigger my awakening.’

Suddenly, a slot machine popped up in his mind.

’Huh? What’s with this?’

[Since there is still your previous partly awakened talent in your body, it will be restored, and for becoming a Transcendent Player, you will gain one random talent awakening.]

Suddenly, the cartoon-like slot machine appeared physically in front of his eyes, but in a magical way. It was glowing.

[You have a dangerous amount of anger suppressed within you that translated into something even more dangerous, which can influence you in a negative way, as well as bring trouble to your surroundings. It is suggested that you punch the slot machine with as much anger as you can to vent some of it.]

"Huh?" Aidan narrowed his eyes. ’The fuck do you mean? I can’t control my anger? I fucking endured that hell for over a billion years, and I can’t fucking control my anger? Is that what you are saying?’

[It is recommended that you vent your anger before your powerful soul accidentally releases dangerous frequencies that can call Terror Tears around this place and flood out Terrors from them.]

Aidan’s temple vein popped.

’I’ve been fucking cool since I woke up, you moron!!’

As Aidan snapped, something indeed happened.

A burst of invisible waves, unseen and unfelt by anyone, spread out, phasing through the reality of this place itself as it couldn’t be contained.

And these waves were captured by Terroreign.

Within a kilometer around the mansion, not one, not two, but three pitch-black tears appeared near ground level, splitting open vertically.

Colorful eyes, large and small, glinted before roars began echoing in the night from the slits.

"Aidan!! There’s trouble here! I have to go, so wipe your ass fast and meet me outside! Awaken your talent right now if possible!"

’FUCK!’ Aidan stood up, his anger bursting. ’Damn Terrors really came!’

[I told you.]

’Shut up!’

He was pissed off!

Furious!

Wrathful!

At himself!

He fucking drowned in despair for a billion years! The pain he endured was so insane he was perpetually angry all the time, but it was suppressed by the helplessness there!

The anger... was directed at himself because he made the decision that landed him in that fucking position!

’Damn it! I am not dying again! So give me a fucking good talent!’

Clenching his fist, Aidan punched the slot machine with his full power and... a lot of anger.

The slot machine went bonkers with colorful lights as it started spinning rapidly.

’QUICK! STOP WASTING TIME!’

The slot machine came to a screeching halt, showing some kind of eccentric symbol with multiple colored patterns.

[Congratulations. You have awakened a X-rank talent, Exotic Summoner.]

’Huh?! Well, it’s X-rank, so it should be powerful, right? Quick, I have to summon something.’

[X-rank Talents means talents that has broken their limits to be contained.]

...

Outside the mansion, Beatrix had taken out an artifact that looked like a gothic lamp, dimly lit with a blue flame.

All three Terror Tears were within a kilometer of each other, and the 2-kilometer area around the mansion was now sealed.

Fortunately, this 10-acre land was her property, and she had built the mansion right in the middle.

’The tears are fluctuating?! What the hell?’ Beatrix frowned as she floated in the sky with silver-cyan neon sparkling wings on her back.

An exotic wooden bow with golden patterns appeared in her hand.

Then, magical arrows manifested and floated around her, which were the result of her talent. Each arrow had the elemental attributes of finely synergized fire and wind.

SS-rank Talent—Pyro Bloom Arcanist.

Suddenly, one of the tears burst out with ten Terrors.

Each one looked like a malformed two-headed dog with four legs, except that it was the size of an elephant.

’Tier-3 Terrors?’

Swooosh!

An arrow magically appeared, glowing and bursting with a spiral of green and gold that Beatrix released.

It split into ten and went for all ten Tier-3 Terrors.

BOOM!

Upon contact, they all exploded violently, blasting apart their bodies.

The other two Terror Tears flickered and suddenly became larger before monsters burst out.

From one came ten raging bulls with their earthen-like bodies ablaze, leaving trails of fire on the grassy ground as they headed towards the mansion.

The other ten were flying birds like vultures, except they had razor-sharp metal wings.

All of them were Tier-4.

’The Terror Tears fluctuated and became bigger so fast!’ Beatrix was shocked.

It was an extreme anomaly in her eyes. Something that had reportedly never happened.

Usually, Terror Tears were dormant when they first appeared, unable to be destroyed, as if they existed in another space and only their image was visible. There was a clear countdown on them that people had learned to identify when their borders were glowing. But before that, people can enter inside the tear to eliminate its core, preventing the Terror Outburst that would occur once its countdown hits zero.

But something like three Terror Tears appearing out of nowhere, spewing Terrors right away, and even fluctuating and becoming bigger in such a short time?

An extreme anomaly.

Swooosh!! Swooosh!!

She focused on eliminating the monsters first, unleashing more arrows and exploding all of them with pinpoint precision and speed.

’I can handle up to Tier-9, but big groups of Tier-9s or higher will be the death of me.’ Beatrix frowned as she saw the Terror Tears fluctuating again.

She looked at her watch.

’The guild reinforcement I called will take five more minutes. It should be fine.’

CHIIZRR! CHIII!!

Suddenly, a sharp and eccentric sound spread from the three Terror Tears.

Then, before Beatrix’s shocked eyes, the Terror Tears moved.

She had never seen them move before, but they moved towards each other.

And joined.

Turning bigger!

Wider!

"W-what the..." Beatrix’s words stuck in her throat as her eyes met a pair of large glowing orbs.

Fear gripped her heart.

Her hands, no, her entire body started trembling, as if her cells were screaming that they were in danger.

The glowing orbs neared as the figure possessing them as eyes emerged.

Beatrix’s eyes widened in fear. freewёbnoνel.com
