Chapter 59: Rare

"As for the three cosmic laws..." At this point, Sally frowned slightly and explained,

"Cosmic laws, Lord Ozir, are not like major laws, which anyone can practice if they wish. These laws depend heavily on talent. Someone without talent for a particular law won’t be able to cultivate it, even if they have the right environment and the proper comprehension skill." Sally explained briefly before raising a finger. "The greater one’s talent, the faster they can master and cultivate that law." ƒгeewebnovёl.com

"As for the three cosmic law comprehension skills you requested, Lord Ozir, we have two for the cosmic law of life. One is for Wis (4), and the other is for Wis (5)."

"As for the cosmic law of stars, which is even rarer than the cosmic law of life, we only have one complete Wis (4) skill."

"As for the cosmic law of derivation..." Sally hesitated for a moment before continuing.

"The cosmic law of derivation, Lord Ozir, is one of the rarest cosmic laws in the universe. In fact, you could count the types of beasts that follow this law on your fingers. Unlike other cosmic laws such as life, space, destruction, and many others, which have numerous races and countless beasts aligned with them."

"There isn’t a single organization or empire in the universe that has made this law its primary path. The number of people who walk this path and comprehend it is extremely small because of its unusually demanding talent requirements."

"The only thing we have is a single Wis (4) skill." Sally shook her head apologetically. "Unfortunately, it’s incomplete. Its completion rate doesn’t even exceed seventy percent."

Hearing that, Rios frowned and pondered for a moment before saying,

"In that case, it won’t hurt. I’ll take all of them."

Sally smiled gently and dipped her head.

"Certainly, Lord Ozir. Copies of every skill will be prepared for you immediately."

"Mm."

Rios nodded, then felt a slight movement on his shoulder.

"Sir! Sir! I’ve finished analyzing all of those skills! These are the seven best comprehension skills out of all those dozens of skills!" Lily leaped off his shoulder and flew rapidly above his head as a red screen appeared before him.

The screen displayed seven files, each corresponding to one of the seven major laws Rios had requested.

"Good. You did well... Lily."

Rios gently patted Lily’s head.

Overjoyed by the gesture, Lily immediately straightened into a military salute and shouted in a loud voice, drawing even more attention from the nearby people.

"Assistant Lily is always at your service, Sir!"

Rios chuckled inwardly, smiled softly, and nudged her aside before turning to Sally.

"So... how much will all of this cost?"

Sally chuckled at Lily’s innocent behavior, but the moment she heard Rios’s question, she immediately focused again and tapped the table. The red screen reappeared.

"Normally, Wis (4) skills are priced between fifty and one hundred Prime depending on their quality. Wis (5) skills range from five hundred to one thousand Prime, also depending on quality. As for Wis (6) skills, they range from five thousand to ten thousand Prime." Sally explained briefly before continuing. "Of course, that’s only for major laws."

"You selected seven high-quality Wis (4) comprehension skills, each valued at ninety Prime."

"You also selected seven Wis (5) skills, each worth nine hundred Prime."

"And another seven Wis (6) skills, each priced at eight thousand Prime."

Hearing those numbers, Rios’s soul tensed as he looked at Sally nervously.

"As for the cosmic laws, Lord Ozir, their comprehension skills are sold for several times the price of major law skills."

"You purchased a high-grade Wis (4) skill for the cosmic law of life, valued at three hundred Prime. You also purchased the Wis (5) version of the same skill, valued at three thousand Prime." Sally carefully checked the red screen, making sure every calculation was correct.

"As for the cosmic law of stars, you purchased a medium-grade Wis (4) skill valued at two hundred Prime."

"And you also purchased a high-quality Wis (4) skill for the cosmic law of derivation. Although it’s incomplete, it will only cost one hundred Prime."

"After applying the fifty-percent discount, the total comes to 33,250 Prime."

Sally smiled as she turned the red screen toward Rios.

Rios stared at the number on the screen, and his soul trembled several times. It felt as though thousands of swords and daggers—one for every Prime displayed—were stabbing straight into his heart.

Just paying that much in his very first transaction gave him a splitting headache.

"Shit... my precious money. I only just got it, and now I’m spending nearly half of it in a single purchase. Aaaah... my poor fortune..."

With every Prime he spent, Rios felt as though he were losing a piece of his own body. He cried inwardly before finally letting out a helpless sigh.

Money existed to be spent, not hoarded.

Rios placed his hand on the desk, specifically on a red array similar to the one that had received his beast cores in The Eternal Night Heaven, and ordered,

"System, transfer the required amount to this array."

At his command, countless Prime coins flowed from Rios’s hand into the array on the desk.

Within a few seconds, the payment was complete.

"Thank you, Lord Ozir. These skills will be sent to your account immediately." Sally smiled politely before adding,

"But if you’ll allow me one small question... you’re planning to establish an organization... or perhaps an empire, aren’t you...?"

"But if you’ll allow me one small question... you’re planning to establish an organization or an empire, aren’t you?"

"Oh! What makes you say that?" Rios asked in surprise, turning toward Sally.

"It doesn’t take much thinking, Lord Ozir. You simply bought far more than you could ever use yourself... or even give to someone else." Sally chuckled softly before continuing.

"Of course, if your goal was to deepen your understanding of your own law by studying other laws, that would be a different matter.
