Chapter 1956: Chapter 475: Thieving Heart Never Dies, Shamelessly Debased_5
Hu Lin saw her face looking weary, so he didn’t stay longer: "Princess, have a good rest, goodbye."
"Butler, see off the guest," Yun Ya said mildly.
Ziyu personally escorted Hu Lin out of the ancient castle.
One of the maids, who seemed slightly steadier, walked over and respectfully said: "The room is ready, would the Princess like to eat first or rest first?"
Yun Ya sighed: "Take a bath first."
The journey was exhausting, with sweat all over and sticky clothes, making her very uncomfortable.
The maid went off to prepare bath water, while the room full of maids performed their duties in an orderly manner, yet everything revolved around Yun Ya. From entering to now, no one took notice of Gan Wei’er. Gan Wei’er sat there awkwardly, feeling like an invisible person, secretly gritting her teeth.
"Weiwei sister, I’m not feeling well, so I’ll go rest first. Please make yourself at home, don’t be polite, Ah Hua will accompany Miss Weiwei."
Ah Hua nodded obediently.
Yun Ya rose gracefully amidst Gan Wei’er’s slightly stiff smile and left.
Gan Wei’er clenched her fists, thinking what an impolite gesture, treating herself like the host, such audacity.
Taking another look at the luxurious and elegant European-style ancient castle, Gan Wei’er was filled with envy, jealousy, and resentment.
Yun Ya took a hot bath, feeling all her fatigue seemingly swept away. After the bath, wearing a robe, she came out to find a set of cotton-linen pajamas laid out on the bed, but didn’t bother to change before collapsing into sleep.
The entire journey had been unrestful, and she ended up sleeping until noon the next day.
Yun Ya hadn’t fully awakened; no one dared disturb her. Even though Young Master Lorde arrived early, sitting in the living room sipping tea cup after cup, upon hearing Yun Ya was still asleep, he instructed the maids not to disturb her, patiently waiting.
Gan Wei’er approached with a bright smile, "Young Master Lorde, we meet again."
Lorde glanced at her mildly before lowering his head again, a faint "Mm" serving as a response.
Gan Wei’er pursed her lips, sitting opposite him, her eyes greedily observing him. The more she looked at this man, the more she liked him, yet...
A faint bitterness and deep unwillingness arose in her heart.
"The Princess must be quite tired from the journey; she might need to sleep more. It’s regrettable to keep Young Master Lorde waiting for so long."
Lorde faintly furrowed his brows, ignoring her.
She’s not someone important to the Princess, so why speak on behalf of the Princess as if it’s reasonable? It was absurd.
Seeing Lorde completely ignoring her, Gan Wei’er felt somewhat agitated. Did she really look so detestable? Although she wasn’t as beautiful as that woman, she was still fresh and cute, wasn’t she?
Gan Wei’er dared not be more assertive, quietly accompanying him until noon. Seeing Lorde at ease without a hint of impatience, she couldn’t sit still and called a maid over, "Go check on the Princess, why hasn’t she gotten up yet? It’s rather discourteous to keep a guest waiting this long."
The maid glanced at Lorde but didn’t respond.
Gan Wei’er furrowed her brows, "Didn’t you hear what I said?"
"No need," Lorde said coldly, "Let her sleep well, I have nothing urgent, might as well wait."
The maid respectfully retreated.
Gan Wei’er held back her anger, enviously said, "Young Master Lorde is truly kind to the Princess."
Of course, that bit of sour jealousy was deeply suppressed.
Lorde was noncommittal, his back straight, even with a casual sitting posture he drew one’s eye.
Yun Ya only woke up at noon. After washing her face, Xiao Nan prepared breakfast, and the same steady maid from yesterday spoke while Yun Ya ate, "Princess, Young Master Lorde arrived early and didn’t disturb you upon seeing you asleep, he’s been waiting downstairs."
Yun Ya paused, "Understood."
Slowly finishing her breakfast (which was actually lunch), elegantly wiped her hands with a napkin, and changed clothes before going downstairs to meet the guest.
Seeing the young lady gracefully descending the stairs, her beauty unparalleled, especially her elegant and noble demeanor, enchanting everyone.
Lorde’s profound gaze contained deep admiration, which he concealed well, his hand secretly tightening by his side.
Gan Wei’er, both envious and unwilling, could only muster a smile.
"Princess, you look very well today."
Gan Wei’er said with a smile.
Yun Ya curled her lips slightly, raising a hand to touch her face, didn’t she understand the undertone of this girl’s words? Letting someone wait from morning until noon, but she enjoyed a sound sleep.
