Chapter 27: Limitless Void
’’Not only me, huh.’’ Vyral thought when he saw plenty of candidates fighting against Black Slimes inside the cave.
All of them faced the same situation as Vyral. They couldn’t finish off the monsters. Vyral scratched the back of his head as he recalled the first part of the exam. He could tell that it was a test to determine their class before the final part of the exam began.
That explained why most of the candidates here were fighters. No one possessed a magical attack to deal with the monsters here, or had powerful enough magic to use.
Vyral instantly sensed a sneak attack from behind. He unconsciously somersaulted to dodge it, finally landing safely on the ground.
’’You think you can pull the same trick on me?’’
Vyral raised his hand, releasing a fireball at the Black Slime and tearing it into pieces.

The sole flame in the cave flared up, instantly drawing everyone’s attention. Their faces were clearly bewildered by Vyral’s attack.
’’He can use magic?’’ a candidate stammered. ’’I thought this area was only for fighters?’’
’’Hey, you! Why can he use magic? What the fuck is wrong with your information? Did you lie to us?’’ a muscular candidate with a grumpy face roared.
The handsome candidate adjusted his glasses before replying.
’’That can’t be.’’
He explained.
’’My father is one of the core members under the Chief of Technology. He got this information from the Chief himself, so it can’t be wrong. Fighters would be sent to zones designed to counter fighters’ traits like ours.’’
’’Look at him! His movements are remarkably agile. Those are the traits of a fighter like us. So, there’s only one possibility: he has two classes, Mage and Fighter.’’
The muscular candidate groaned in discomfort.
’’What nonsense. Everyone only has one class, unless...’’
His voice grew quieter.
The four-eyed candidate nodded.
’’Right, he learned Magic like the natives. He has talent comparable to the children of the Chiefs. He’s an exception.’’
The muscular candidate clenched his teeth and grabbed a magic staff, shooting fireballs at the Black Slimes – items that allowed non-mages to use magic and had been prepared for them from the start. But obviously, it couldn’t compare to Vyral’s true magic.
’’Damn it! I won’t let him take all my points.’’
Actually, the four-eyed had deliberately used his silver tongue to praise Vyral and make him the target of the muscular candidate’s frustration instead of himself.
’’Tch. Learn Magic? No way. Even natives spend twenty years learning to cast a fireball. He must’ve been a Mage from the beginning. There has to be some mistake for a Mage like him to end up in this zone.’’
However, he began to doubt his own thoughts when his lie gradually became the truth in a way.
Vyral really possessed the traits of two classes.
He leisurely walked through the cave while relentlessly releasing fireballs at the black slimes.
The monsters began to realize how serious a threat Vyral was. They gathered and attacked him at once. But thanks to the fighters’ movements, Vyral easily dodged them, dancing through their attacks like a professional ballet dancer.

They all charged at Vyral like moths to a flame, yet were powerless to reach him.
He chuckled as he stared at the Mystic Energy he had gained after killing forty Black Slimes.

However,...
Over time, Vyral began to worry as more and more Black Slimes charged at him. Meanwhile, his mana was showing signs of running dry. freewebnøvel.coɱ
Vyral quickly opened the evolution list before things went too far. Trying to find the most useful skills in this situation.
’’Come one.’’
The sweats began to overflow on his forehead as he lục lỏi three lists. Finally after three minutes, he finally found a basic evolution

Create an additional inverse loop within your mana core, restoring 0.1% of your total mana capacity each time your mana reaches zero.
’’Perfect!’’
Vyral glanced at his Mystic Energy.
Mystic Energy: 68.53
He clenched his jaw and lunged at the Black Slimes, barely using any skills. Relying solely on his physical strength.
He would try to buy time until his clones and the Earring of the Sun earned the remaining Mystic Energy.
’’I’ll leave the last fireball for all of you.’’
Seemingly realizing that Vyral wasn’t releasing any more fireballs, the horde of slimes charged at him even more frantically, like a swarm of ants rushing their prey.
They covered the entire cave, nonstop shooting corrosive mucus and sealing off every route of escape.
The candidates were surprised by the Black Slimes’ insanity. They had never expected all of them to be so desperate to kill Vyral.
The four-eyed candidate adjusted his glasses and chuckled. He stopped everyone from interfering, remaining outside the battle.
’’I guess that’s the price of standing out. He’ll fail for sure.’’
The muscular candidate grinned while leaning on his staff.
’’A bug should be exterminated.’’
’’Hhahahaha. He deserves it.’’
The candidates laughed as they watched Vyral suffer under the relentless assault of the Black Slimes.
They very much enjoyed Vyral’s deafening screams and the sight of his muscle fibers being corroded, blood streaming down his body.

A new loop materialized around his mana core, rotating in the opposite direction of the main loop, creating a peculiar void at the center—endless, pitch-black, and eerily silent. Amid the limitless void, the remaining mana within Vyral existed as a tiny spot of light.
’’Fireball!’’

The spot of light vanished, only to reappear the next instant.
Vyral tightened his fist and raised a hand.
His corroded torso began to recover at a visible speed. Green skin rapidly regenerated over the bloodied muscle fibers.
’’Die!’’
BOOM!
Vyral relentlessly unleashed a series of fireballs at the Black Slimes, brutally vaporizing them on the spot.
’’Time to slaughter.’’
