Chapter 63: Slight NSFW

AN: I am so sorry for the delay. I haven’t written a spicy scene in a while, so it took some time. Enjoy! Plus, tomorrow is my birthday, hehe.

Yan Jia didn’t waste any time. With a few taps, she started erasing everything. Yu Wen had no idea that someone had already noticed his actions. In the end, she was too late. Her response was timely, but Yu Wen had saved all the data into his device. It was only when he disconnected it that the floating screens flickered before going dark.

Yu Wen, "..."

How could the entire thing be erased just like that? It could only mean that someone was watching him. He looked around the room for a camera, but he couldn’t find one. He had to use a scanning device. As expected, there was an invisible camera hidden on the wall.

His heart clenched at the thought that Li Jun might be watching him. He decided to send him a message. He typed on the floating screen before reversing the view to the camera.

He had typed, "Where are you?"  He knew he wouldn’t get a response, but he still wanted him to know that he knew he was alive and he was looking for him.

Yan Jia’s eyes widened when she saw this. How was it possible? How could Yu Wen possibly know that Li Jun was alive?

"Sister Jia!" called the main subject at the heart of this issue. "Do you want to go hunting with me? We can go catch our own dinner."

Yan Jia quickly shut the entire system down. He couldn’t let Li Jun know that his perfect plan had an unexpected anomaly. She cleared her throat and said, "I am coming," before composing herself.

Li Jun smiled while saying, "Then let me go and change into my hunting outfit." He sounded like he was going to dress up to impress the prey.

"Your highness, this isn’t a fashion show," she said with a teasing tone.

He turned to look at her, saying, "At least we should give them something pretty to look at before they are on my plate."

Yan Jia, "???" fɾēewebnσveℓ.com

While the pair were going to hunt prey for their dinner, Yu Wen was standing in the middle of the closet seeming lost. He knew he shouldn’t have had his hopes up, but he couldn’t help himself. When no answer came, it hurt more than he expected.

Maybe he and his mother were wrong? Maybe he was really gone, and this was Draco or Damian erasing the last traces of him in this world. He packed everything Li Jun had left in the bedroom and took it back with him. He sorted the clothes out and placed them in the wash before heading into his home office.

There was a lot of surveillance footage to go through, but he was more interested in Li Jun’s activities in the past few weeks. Yu Wen spent hours sitting there reviewing everything he did and said. But apart from confirming what he already knew, there was nothing else.

The only thing this footage did was confirm that Li Jun had relocated his staff and packed up valuable things. He never discussed any of his plans at Club Nova. Or maybe he did, but in places like his suite, where there were no cameras.

He leaned back with a sigh. Just then, he realized there was a camera in the private lounge. Could he have kept footage from that far back? Curious, he sifted through searching for a particular date he would never forget.

When he found the recording he was looking for, his fingers trembled slightly. He knew he shouldn’t open it. It would do him no good, but... he couldn’t resist. He had to see it. He had to see what happened that night.

He tapped the icon, and the footage of that day began to play. He tapped the timestamp he was looking for. His entire body went numb when he saw Li Jun walk in with him following behind. He remembered this part.

He remembered arguing with Li Jun and pressing him against the wall. He remembered being kicked hard and collapsing to the ground. The rest was a blur. But now he could see with his own eyes what happened after that.

His jaw tightened as he watched on the floating screen Li Jun crouch beside him and say, "You have been drugged." His voice coming from the speakers was surprisingly gentle. "Wherever it happened, it didn’t happen here."

Yu Wen watched his past self try to focus on Li Jun’s face. His own eyes were glassy, his pupils blown wide, but something in his expression shifted when Li Jun spoke again.

"You like Li Yu, right? I will send you to her with a red bow," he said before pausing, his head tilted slightly as though studying him. "Or I can send you to the hospital."

Yu Wen on the screen didn’t answer. He was just staring at Li Jun like he was the only floating piece of driftwood in the vast sea. His lips parted, but he didn’t utter a single word.

Li Jun smiled slightly and said, "Li Yu, it is. I will send you to her." After saying that, he got up like he was about to leave. Yu Wen watched himself grab Li Jun’s leg, his fingers crumbling the expensive fabric, his knuckles turning white. It was as though he was holding on to his last saving grace. Li Jun looked down, his brow arched.

What happened after that made Yu Wen’s stomach drop. The him on the screen got up, his movements unsteady. He used Li Jun’s body to steady himself. His hands traveled up Li Jun’s chest. He cupped either side of Li Jun’s neck and kissed him deeply. The kiss was rough and desperate, lacking even an ounce of finesse.

Their lips stuck together even as Li Jun stepped back, and Yu Wen followed. This ’I step back and you follow’ routine continued until there was nowhere to go. As Li Jun’s back met the wall, a soft thud came through the speakers. Yu Wen’s breath caught.

On the screen, Li Jun’s hands came up. For a moment, it looked like he would push him away. Instead, his fingers hovered near Yu Wen’s shoulders as though uncertain. Then they slid upward, entangling in Yu Wen’s hair before kissing him back with the same ferocity, the same hunger.

Yu Wen watched as Li Jun’s lips moved against his with such fervent urgency. His lips parted, and his tongue slid along the seam of Yu Wen’s mouth before pushing inside. The kiss was slick and searching, a deep exploration that made the Yu Wen on the screen make a sound caught between a moan and a gasp. It was immediately swallowed by Li Jun’s mouth.
