Chapter 38: Somebody got banned
Li Jun, losing control of himself, yanked at his collar tighter, pulling him down with him. Yu Wen placed his hand on Li Jun’s waist, his fingers digging into the fabric of his shirt. He straddled him, the leather creaking beneath them.
Li Jun knew he had agreed to one kiss but once he had had a taste, why would he let go of the meal that had fallen at his lap? He couldn’t stop, at least not yet. Yu Wen’s fingers slipped into Li Jun’s hair and with a hard but painless tug, he tilted Li Jun’s head back, changing the angle of the kiss.
A soft groan came out of Li Jun’s throat, his hands caressing down Yu Wen’s back, pressing him closer. Their chests rubbed against each other, the heat radiating through their clothes.
His unruly hands gripped his waist hard enough to leave a faint mark. With no restraint, he groped Yu Wen’s ass, squeezing it hard. Yu Wen whimpered into the kiss, his body responding to every touch. He could feel himself getting hard, his arousal pressing against the man’s stomach. ƒreewebηoveℓ.com
Seeing where things were headed, his rational self set off warning alarms in his mind. They were enemies. What happened the first time could be labelled an accident but if it happened the second time then what could that mean? While talking himself out of it, Li Jun writhed beneath him, rubbing his hardness against his. Stimulated, Yu Wen rolled his hips with a grunt.
Li Jun encouraged him, guiding his movements. It felt so intense, almost driving him into madness. His teeth found Yu Wen’s lower lip and bit down, tugging the swollen flesh. Yu Wen’s hand slid from his hair to his throat, a soft groan escaping his throat.
His thumb pressed on the underside of Li Jun’s jaw, tilted the man’s head back further and kissed down the line of his throat, tasting every inch of him. "Fuck," Li Jun swore, his voice breathy. "Yu Wen," he whispered, his voice deeper than before.
When he heard his name coming out of those lips, it was as if a switch had been flipped. His entire body felt like it had been set alight. He wanted more. He wanted to devour Li Jun whole. He wanted to consume him until they were inseparable.
He thrust his hips harder, the rhythm desperate and chaotic. He could feel the man’s arousal matching his own, even through the layer of clothes. They moved together, panting into each other’s mouths.
Li Jun’s phone suddenly rang and reality came crashing in, hard. Yu Wen pulled back and froze. The man was lying in a mess beneath him, seeming a little confused. Yu Wen thought, "What am I doing?" He jerked back, stumbling off the couch.
Li Jun sat up while pulling his hair back. He didn’t even have a chance to say anything before Yu Wen said, "I am sorry," his voice hoarse. After saying that, he watched the general who commanded armies without batting an eye, flee the room like he was being chased.
Li Jun scoffed. This man had provoked him first, yet he was now acting like a woman whose innocence had been tainted by him. He straightened his clothes and fixed his hair. Yu Wen, on the other hand, was in such a hurry that he bumped into Yan Jia and didn’t even apologize.
Yan Jia was a little perplexed. What would have a grown man fleeing like that? She walked into the private lounge and found Li Jun sitting where she had left him. He was pouring out some whiskey, the amber liquid reflecting the light.
He raised the glass to his lips when Yan Jia asked, "What did you do to him? He ran out like he saw a ghost."
Li Jun put the glass down and asked, "Who? Me?... I did nothing to him. What could scare a grown man like him?" Yan Jia saw that his lips were a little swollen and there was a cushion on his lap covering something. She instantly understood. She never interfered in Li Jun’s love life but she couldn’t stay silent anymore.
"Your Highness," she said and Li Jun looked at her.
He said, "Speak your mind," seeing that she was hesitating to say something.
Yan Jia closed the door. Whatever she was about to say to him wasn’t for others’ ears. She said, "I think the general isn’t suitable for you. He always finds trouble for you and... he hates you."
Li Jun knew all this already. Nothing would come out of this interaction. He just wanted to hear someone else say it. The thing that happened between them was fun and the high, incredibly addictive but it couldn’t be allowed to continue.
Yan Jia thought Li Jun would be angry that he interfered but to her surprise, he said, "Ban him from the club. Post it on StarNet as well." She should have been happy to hear that but her chest felt heavy and the atmosphere cloudy.
Li Jun gulped down the liquor, the burn numbing his emotions. Yan Jia said, "I will get to it." He hummed in response as he got up.
"I am going to bed, don’t disturb me," he said, walking past her. Yan Jia wanted to say something but, in the end, she swallowed her words and watched him walk towards the elevator.
Li Jun glanced back and with a smile, he said, "Why are you acting as if someone died? Cheer up, you are spoiling the mood."
Yan Jia, "..."
Who exactly between them was sulking? Li Jun had a bright smile but Yan Jia had lived long enough with him to tell that he wasn’t in a good mood. Li Jun got in the elevator and asked, "Are you coming?" Yan Jia snapped out of it and rushed over.
She was quite efficient when it came to her work. In a matter of minutes, everyone on StarNet knew that General Yu Wen of the Red Valkyrie was banned from Club Nova indefinitely. If he so much as came within ten feet of the club, security had permission to restrain him.
Yu Wen had no idea that he had been banned. When he got home, his mother called him. He reluctantly answered the call and his mother’s voice came through asking, "Were you with Li Jun?"
His brows furrowed, wondering how she knew. Taking off his shoes, he asked, "Yes, why?"
Lu Anu said, "Well, he banned you from Club Nova. It’s all over StarNet. You were supposed to woo him, not get yourself fucking banned. *Sigh, I should have taught you how to pursue someone, now look at you."
Yu Wen, "???"
