Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Celestial Energy Awakens

Everyone was surprised at what happened in a blink of an eye.

"Serves her right" the girl that had black hair said, loud enough for everyone to hear.

Angelina rushed forward, she wanted to beg for forgiveness as she couldn’t afford her lady to die, before her mother died, she promised her to take very good care of Celestia and now she couldn’t let her die, not in the hands of the Crown’s Monster. As she was about to come forward, Celestia glanced at her and gave her this look that said;

"Don’t you dare"

Angelina had to stay put and just pray nothing happens.

Drazeil’s eyes were already full red and normally he should have just choked her to death and also removed her heart. But his body was unwilling to do that.

"Drazeil or should I say Zeil?" she murmured, a cheeky smile flickering.

"Is she not scared of me?" No one shortens my name. No one dares. Yet here she is, purposely taunting him.

"Quite the audacity, I must say, so not call me that"

"Or what, Zeil"

"Do you know I could kill you right now?" he growled.

"Of course I do, you are the one holding my neck, choking me to Death, but then are you sure you are not using the opportunity to get close to me because from the way I’m seeing it, we are so close to each other."

What she said was true, their face was so close that if not because Drazeil has a very stern expression, it was as though they wanted to kiss"

Drazeil looked at the mark on her wrist again and said; "You are surely going to die"

"Then why don’t you get on with it and save us both the trouble of this tension because from the look of it, I wouldn’t mind kissing you right now"

Drazeil hardened his hand around her neck. He couldn’t believe she was saying such. She’s probably one of those girls who go around seducing men for favors, such a whore.

Celestia could feel her breath coming short, but she refused to show weakness in front of him. She brought her hand up slowly caressing his.

Drazeil felt a kind of weird feeling arise in him when she did that,

"Stop doing that"

"Why, do you like it so much you want me to stop" Celestia said cheekily smiling.

Drazeil saw the mark again and this time on her forehead, he was one of the few magical people who could see and recognize the mark of a celestial being.

"What are you?" he asked.

"A girl," she replied.

"Don’t play coy with me, did they send you here, because as far as I know, I’ve never seen you before, you must be part of those damn beings and you are here for the relic, aren’t you?

"What relic?" Celestia asked, genuinely confused.

Drazeil was no good at reading emotions nor facial expressions so he couldn’t tell if she was lying or not but something inside him was telling him, she doesn’t know anything about the relic.

Drazeil could feel himself going out of breath slowly, it was as though the way he was choking meant he was choking himself also, ’Must be one of her tricks" he thought.

The only way I can know for sure if she’s a celestial being is for her to use her divine power and what better way than to provoke her.

He noticed there was one person in the crowd he saw her looking at and also standing with. He stretched his arm and Angelina was right beside him and he was choking her.

"Release her at once. This has nothing to do with her."

"If you want to save her, you have to fight me"

"So this is how it is," Celestia thought.

A sharp tension filled Celestia’s chest.

For a moment, she didn’t move.

Not fear.

Calculation.

Then she closed her fan slowly.

"...You really enjoy giving people impossible choices, don’t you?"

...You’ve left me no choice."

Drazeil didn’t answer but stared at her intently.

That was enough.

The air shifted.

She moved first.

Her fan snapped open mid-step.

CLACK.

A strike came straight for Drazeil’s throat—fast, precise.

He tilted his head slightly.

It missed by a breath.

Celestia didn’t stop.

She spun instantly, fan slicing toward his ribs.

Drazeil caught her wrist.

Too fast.

A surge of force— ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com

BOOM.

The ground cracked as Celestia slid back. A small line of blood appeared at her lip. She took a handkerchief from her gown pocket and wiped it gently.

Then smiled faintly.

"That’s all you got?", "Hit me like you mean it, bloodsucker, I’ll rip those fangs out with my bare hands before you blink."

A few gasps echoed in the hall.

Drazeil’s eyes darkened, what she didn’t know was that he was restraining himself while fighting her, he didn’t know why he was restraining himself because Drazeil never restrained himself while fighting but whenever he tried to use an hard fight impact, he just couldn’t but he tried to console himself by telling himself he just wanted to confirm if she was a Celestial being then he would end her.

Chamberlain couldn’t bear seeing this fight going on in front of the King, it was practically an insult, he glanced at the King and saw him amused, even the crowd enjoyed the show.

Chamberlain went towards the King and bowed then said, "Your Majesty, should I do something about this"

The King laughed and said, "What do you even want to about it, except if you are willing to die you could give it a try"

Chamberlain could understand what the King was trying to say that he should leave them be.

"I like this girl, she’s not even afraid fighting him, how come I have never heard of her"

"Your Majesty, I also, have never seen her but heard rumours that she is the deranged daughter of the Alwyn Family with no Magic"

"No wonder, I’ve not seen her use Magic, as I was expecting her to do some spells, only physical force, I want you to make Research on this young lady for me"

"Yes, your Majesty" the Chamberlain bowed and stood beside his Majesty watching the fight going on.

The King took his goblet and drank his pure grape wine, watching Celestia movements, that Fan of hers was doing wonders.

Celestia stood up and then attacked again.

This time her fan wasn’t just a weapon, it was rhythm.

Open. Strike. Close. Deflect.

She forced him to actually move.

The fan clipped his sleeve and sliced his arm but Drazeil healed quickly.

For a second.

A second of contact.

Drazeil’s expression changed slightly, it was very rare for something to make a cut on him, maybe because he was lowering his guard around her too much.

Celestia noticed.

"Oh?" she muttered, breathing slightly heavier. "Not so untouchable now."

Drazeil’s killing intent flared.

He struck.

Harder this time.

Celestia blocked with her fan—

CRACK—

The impact sent her skidding back, but she flipped mid-slide, landing on one knee.

Her fingers tightened around the fan.

Still intact.

Barely.

Drazeil stared at her.

"...You should already be broken."

Celestia stood slowly.

"One of us clearly has unrealistic expectations."

The crescent mark on her wrist shifted faintly, expanding into a half-moon as her emotions spiked, no longer calm awareness, but a sharpened instinct reacting to danger.

Drazeil saw it.

His expression sharpened instantly.

"CELESTIAL ENERGY."

Something in him snapped as he confirmed she was definitely a Celestial Being.

Rage surged, not loud, but controlled and dangerous.

"I should have ended you the moment I saw that mark the first time" he thought in his mind.

He moved.

This time, there was no hesitation.

A blur.

Celestia barely raised her fan in time.

BOOM—

The force behind his strike pushed her back several meters.

Her arm trembled.

But she laughed softly.

"Wow," she said through the pain.

"Big bad bloodsucker, spooked by a little glow? Come on then, finish it if you can." she said as she also noticed the glow on her wrist even though she had no idea what that meant but she knew it agitated him so much.

Drazeil appeared in front of her again.

Another strike.

She blocked, but the force cracked the marble beneath her feet.

Her knees bent slightly.

But she didn’t fall.

"...You talk too much," he said coldly.

Celestia exhaled sharply.

"Talk too much? Mmm... then shut me up right" she said, deliberately taunting him.

She swung her fan upward, catching his wrist just for a second.

Not enough to stop him, but enough to interrupt, Enough to make him pause.

Drazeil froze, His gaze sharpened.

"...Impossible, how can a mere weapon like that be enough to stop his Vampire Attack Flow?"

Celestia used that moment, kicked upward, forcing distance, landing back with her fan open in front of her.

Breathing heavier now, Still standing, Still smiling faintly.

"Next time," she said, wiping blood from her lip with poised grace, "do not underestimate what a fan like mine can do."

The killing intent still burned inside Drazeil badly.

But something else twisted underneath—unstable. Unwanted. Wrong.

He lifted his hand again. To finish it. To erase her.

But—

He stopped. Fingers tightening in the air.

"...What is this feeling?"

Silence.

Celestia narrowed her eyes, still on guard.

Drazeil’s voice lowered. "I should kill you."

A pause.

"...So why can’t I?"
