Chapter 10: Chapter 10 - Shocking Truth

The start of a new day.

I woke up later than usual today, and this time my grandmother didn’t kiss me.

- (Me). "Huh? Is it morning already? Wow, I think I overslept today. Where’s my grandmother? Hmm... that’s strange."

After moving around on the bed for a while, Sohen remembered something...

Now it was clear why Runo wasn’t there in the morning. Yesterday, I must have spent too much energy on sports, because I didn’t even hear any movement in the room.

- (Karin). "Phoebe? Everyone except Grandma overslept today, haha. Probably still in her rooms. She should be here soon, and I’ll be done cooking then."

It’s a slow start for most people in this house. I can’t even remember the last time something like this happened. We all stick to a certain daily routine, but it’s no big deal.

I was already approaching the kitchen table when I noticed that my mom was wearing a new white robe.

- (Me). "A new robe? Did you buy it recently? I’ve never seen it before."

- (Karin). "Yes, a few days ago. I bought it from an online store. Do you like it?"

Mom was standing behind me preparing food, so I couldn’t see what the robe looked like from the front, but 95% of the things Mom buys online usually look very good on her.

I am currently in Runo’s room and am surprised by how many flowers there are. Approximately 20% of the room is filled with various types of flowers.

This is not surprising, as Runo’s hobby is gardening. She is very proud of her hobby and spends almost all of her free time tending to her garden.

Grandma left me alone in the room, and I began to investigate the cause of her problem with the program.

It turned out that there was a technical glitch in the program, which could be solved by reinstalling it, as well as an incorrectly selected driver that was not compatible with the new version.

After about fifteen minutes, Sochen finished his work and was ready to tell my grandmother that her grandson had successfully completed everything, but...

- (Me). "Most programs are arranged chaotically, so it’s not surprising that technical glitches sometimes occur. Wow, and you also need to clean up the extra junk in the system, because next time there might be... What’s this?"

Unable to finish his thought, Sohen opened an unfamiliar website on the computer...

While he was talking to himself, his grandmother returned to the room. Sohen explained the reasons for the problem and its consequences, then gave Runo a few recommendations. His grandmother was pleased and grateful that her grandson had solved the problem and promised to buy him his favorite pastry the next day.

The rest of the day passed without incident, and then evening began.

Sohen spent the evening watching a football match, which his favorite team ended up losing. After a few minutes of aggression towards the game he was watching, he decided to distract himself with something else and, remembering that mysterious website, began to search for information about it.

For several hours, he found almost nothing, only that the site was rated 18+ and had certain rules for accessing it.

Eventually, he got bored and decided to go to bed.

He took a shower, changed into different clothes, which this time consisted only of underwear because he was hot, and decided it was time to rest.

The first hour was wonderful, but, as in the last few days, at almost the same time, an unknown guest visited his room.

This time, I woke up earlier than usual after visits from the unknown person, and even before she entered—anticipating what would happen next.
