After that, Zen absorbed all the blood from each dead rabbit, gaining an extra 4 Soul points. That turned out to be a huge difference as he felt the energy coursing through his body increase a decent amount.
’At this rate, I will be able to rank up within a day or two. Usually, that would take at least a week of work even for the best talents in the world. This tower is no joke...’ Zen couldn’t contain the thrilled smile from appearing on his face.
15 Soul points in almost a few minutes. That was unreal growth, even for people who had all the resources in the world. Zen’s choice to get Soul Harvester was already starting to show results. He had gained more than double the amount of Soul Points from essentially killing 6 Killer Rabbits.
’Ok, focus, Zen. You can’t let this get to your head. There is still a lot to do.’ He shook his head as he prepared himself for the third round.
The third round was, as Zen expected, harder than the previous two. In fact, it was 5 times harder as Zen saw 25 summoning circles appear before him.
’Hmm, are they going to keep multiplying by 5?’ Zen frowned. ’For now, that isn’t a problem. But, the next round will be tricky, and the one after that will be even harder...’
Zen could imagine this quickly getting out of hand, so he had to stay alert and aware of the situation.
With that, the fight started. Using his faster body, stronger attacks, and sharper reaction speeds, Zen massacred every rabbit with ease. Not even a single one could touch him.

Notifications kept rolling in with each kill as the soul points piled up. Dodging one of the rabbits, he grabbed its head and threw it on the ground before slicing its head off. Then, he turned around and swung his sword, killing two in the process. His movements were swift and smooth, almost like coursing water.
Zen didn’t need to think too much to react; he was just in his zone. All he could see was blood being drawn out and corpses falling to the ground, and before he could even realize it.
[You have killed 25 E-Rank Killer Rabbits.]
[You have gained +25 Soul Points.]
[You have gained +10 Soul Points.]
[You have gained 25 coins]
"Fuuh... I’m already feeling a bit exhausted." Zen muttered as he exhaled a long breath. Looking around him, all he saw were dismembered Rabbits everywhere. He had killed them all in less than three minutes. ’But, it’s getting a bit too close for my liking. Luckily, I’m getting so much stronger so fast.’
The sensation of almost 40 Soul Points was unlike anything else. He became almost two times stronger in a second. His muscles were pumping with energy almost endlessly. The feeling was addictive, and it will only feel more addictive with each more point he gains.
"Ok, for now, let’s absorb the blood first." Lifting his hand in the air, Zen started gathering the blood all around him. Every droplet floated up in the air and accumulated above his head into a bigger sphere. Then, slowly, he absorbed that sphere, basking in the feeling of power being absorbed by his body.
[You have gained +7 Soul Points from using ’Bloodmancy’]
[Your rune ’Bloodmancy’ has leveled up!]
"Hm... I guess Bloodmancy is starting to give lesser results now since I’ve been only killing rabbits."
That was one of the few downsides of his ability. He cannot kill too many of the same species, as that will make the rewards decrease every time. His body was getting too familiar with the blood, so he needed stronger enemies. freewёbnoνel.com
’Luckily, it has finally leveled up. Now, I can use it from a wider range with more efficiency.’ Zen nodded with a satisfied expression.
After checking his profile, he finally opened the shop again since he had a lot more coins now. ’For now, I want to set a target I want to reach. Hmm, ideally, it should be a weapon or a rune.’
Scrolling through the long lists of items, Zen was able to pinpoint a few. Some were hundreds of coins worth, while others were far more expensive. As he was scrolling, however, he noticed one particular thing.
A weapon.
’Hmmm, wait... is that?’ He frowned as he squinted his eyes. ’Bloodmoon Katana... They even have that weapon here?! That’s a considerably strong weapon even for B-Rank Hunters.
The reason Zen recognized that weapon was that he had used it for a few years before. It complemented his main rune, and it was a very strong weapon.
’Here, it costs 1000 coins, which is actually not too bad. I think I can save for that.’ He thought to himself. ’There are other strong runes I could buy. But, this weapon would do me a lot of good.’
As Zen was staring intently at the weapon, a notification suddenly appeared in his retina.
[Would you like to set this item as a target? You can keep track of your progress toward it.]
"Oh? That is actually very convenient. Yeah."
The moment he did, the item appeared in a new section of the shop called ’Favorites’ with a progress bar underneath showing how far he was from reaching its price.
’Still far. But, if my calculations are correct, then... In three or four rounds, I should be able to gather the price for it.’
"That is... However... Far from easy because three rounds from now... If it keeps multiplying by five, then I will be fighting... 2500 Killer Rabbits."
Those were enough rabbits to kill a seasoned Hunter. Zen was getting stronger, but he was far from strong enough to kill that many rabbits in one go, not without a proper battle rune.
Exhaling a long breath, Zen shook his head and focused on what was about to happen. ’For now, I can use this round as an assessment on whether I can really fight big numbers yet or not.’ He frowned.
125 Killer Rabbits. That was a big number, and this battle will be tougher than anything he has faced so far.
Readying himself, Zen started channeling his Soul Essence, boosting his physical prowess. At the same time, his eyes turned sharper and deadlier.
"Bring it on."
At that moment, the entire room lit up with countless summoning circles. All around Zen, from every angle, Rabbits manifested out of thin air.
Their red eyes glowed ominously in the darkness as they stared at Zen. Then, without hesitation, their march began.
’How should I approach this? I certainly can’t fight them head-on. Hmm, maybe this would work.’ Zen then instantly rushed forward with his sword to the side. The monster changed its direction to follow him.
But...
*Swish*
Zen’s blade was already moving as he cut through several rabbits in a second. His speed was now far higher than before, and he could tell. His body was also considerably more flexible, making things a lot easier to do.

Notifications rolled in as he sliced his way through the enemy lines. For several seconds, none could touch him. All they could see was the blade as it cut through their bodies, one by one.
The real battle has finally begun.
